We just got back from WDR Feb 2nd. Our resort was POR. I had started a thread asking about the dining at Boatwrights. Everyone told me about the banana stuffed french toast and sweet potato pancakes. While the sweet potato pancakes was good the banana stuffed french toast was awsome. My husband had it several mornings. I ended up cancelling 2 character buffets because he wanted his banana stuffed french toast. The chef gave me the recipe so I could make it for him at home. The dining for dinner we liked the scallops and prime rib. We did not care too much for the buttermilk fried chicken. If you are looking for a nice quiet place for breakfast I highly recommend Boatwrights it is a hidden jewel as far as breakfast is concerned. The sweet potato pancakes come with pecan praline syrup.

Great news since it's on our list. Glad to know the sweet potato pancakes were good:yay:. That's why we're going.

We also really enjoyed Boatwright's for breakfast. Very good food, cool themed atmosphere.:)

We stayed at POR some years ago and my husband still talks about the food there. We all agree that their foodcourt was also the best with the most options.
We have since stayed at GF BC and bought into DVS SS. This year we are staying at BWV and my DH wants to travel over to POR for either a meal at the food court or Boatwrights. :rotfl:

They do a really nice breakfast but unfortunately only have the nescafecrap coffee so we stopped going. I miss those sweet potato pancakes.
