Scooter Vacations?

has anyone used Scooter Vacations(scootorlando.com) for an ECV rental? if you have, i'm just wondering what your thoughts are and how the experience was. i know there are recommended places. i inquired about Randy's and they quoted me a full weeks charge when we would only need one for 4 days so i wouldn't want to pay the extra money.

Your post is the first that I have heard about that company. I did go to their site and noticed that the only one showing a basket is the $40 per day. I also notice that they have a flat per-day charge rather than a decreasing rate as the other companies do for longer rentals.

the one that is $25 a day has a basket in the back. but i really don't care about the basket. I was looking at the Discovery since DH is pretty small so we don't need a heavy duty one.
what places have their prices going down? Randy's seemed to be high(he quoted me $180 for 4 days/5 nights

You might want to look near the top of Page 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs. Where it says "Boardwalk" is a link to Buena Vista Scooters, and a little below that is a list of companies that people have used and recommended.

We use Walker's and they have given us some great rates. If we arrive after 2:00pm, they don't charge for a full day on the first day and if you return the ECV to the desk before 9:00am on the last day, they don't charge you for a full day.

We also just used Walker Mobility for my mom's scooter. It was $30 per day, and we would use them again in a heartbeat!

i think i'll be going with Walker Mobility. their rate seemed to be good. they'd drop it off on 4/20 and pick it up on the morning of 4/25 and its $153. Randy's would charge me $180. :(
