DH and I are taking DS for his first trip early in 2009. I know it's far away but my time to do fun, crafty projects is pretty limited so I better get started now on it. How do you make the autograph tags? I like those much more than anything else I've seen. They seem to work better for scrapbooking. Can I use my Cricut to make the tags and just spruce them up with stickers and other scrapbooking supplies?

most of us use the George tag (letter K) on the Cricut at size 5 or 5 1/2.
We carried a small clipboard that I bought at Walmart to clip the tags too and carried everything in a ziploc bag. Then take a second ziploc to leave in the room, you can put the used tags in it.
I haven't gotten my tags in the books yet though, so I don't have any pictures.

I actually have that one cartridge surprisinly enough. I think I'll play some today after I get my schoolwork done. Thank you so much!
Oh one last question. Do you put anything on the tag itself or do you leave it blank for the character to sign?

I left mine blank because they will be going into albums for the kids later and the characters tend to take up all the writing space and have been known to write over stickers and clipart.

If you happen to get any of the Disney cartridges between now and your trip, you may want to consider cutting a few character-specific shapes for autographs. I did Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Aladdin, and Jasmine that way and the pages look pretty cool with their signatures on their icons.

Oh good idea! I have all of the Disney carts that are out already. I better get started between work, school, motherhood, and everything else as most of you ladies know it's almost impossible to get crafty things done in time.
