How soon after deposit can you use add on points?

I added on BCV Friday.... how long before I can book with the points.....

My guide is out of town next week and I didnt think I would need the BCV points.... turns out I do :D Just wondering how long til they hit the system! Is there someone else besides my guide I can call to help me out? MS ???

If you bought from Disney, I think you can make reservations with those points as soon as you sign. You can even make the reservation for before the closing and even finish the vacation before the closing....they do make you sign something to make you responsible should the closing not happen for some reason.

Yes, we bought thru Disney.... paid a deposit on our Amex :-)

I am trying to book HH at 7 months out this Oct (day by day for a GV) and dont need the points until Wednesday. (I have enough of my OKW points til then!)

I guess when I am on the phone to MS on Monday to bookthe first two days of our HH trip I can see if my BCV points are in there!!
I just am looking for hope that they will be!

You will only be able to use current year points before you close. Banking and borrowing are limited to after you close.

I forgot an important part of the story. We have a december use year..... and so is our add on.... Dec 2002 UY.... SO I would be borrowing the points.... Now I hear they were not letting people borrow points but then I hear they are...... My guide said she could arrange it but I didnt think it was needed and now she is outta town for a week. :rolleyes: :::::::: Sigh ::::::::: I guess I will call MS in 12 1/2 hours and find out if it is do-able.

Unless someone out there knows?? Am I SOL? Or is this do-able?? :confused:

I was allowed to borrow points, but I had to go through my guide. I would check and see if whoever is covering for your guide can help you out. Good luck!
