When do the Christmas decorations go up at the DVC resorts?

How early in November do the resorts decorate for the holidays?? Is it the week before Thanksgiving or even earlier?? Does this correspond with when MVMCP starts at the MK? Just inquiring because DH is unable to take vacation starting the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas and we'd like to experience the holidays at WDW even if it is a little early.

The resorts usually start to decorate around the first of November, but most of the decorating is visible about a week before Thanksgiving.

The dates have not been announced yet. Last year the first on was on 11/12 and tickets went on sale 5/1. I would expect it would start around the same time this year.

We've done the first Passholder/DVC Member discounted party for the last couple of years. Those have usually been the first or second night. The MK will be decorated for the first night. The rest of WDW is working on the decorations but not 100% completed. We are also waiting on the announcement of the narrators for the CP so we can plan that stay.
