Hi ya,

Quick question about parking, do you have to pay to park in the parking lot? How much is it? How far is it to walk to the Village/parks? Do they have small train-cars like at WDW that take you from the end of the parking lot to the entrance? I'll be going with my parents in November and my dad will be 72 so I want to make sure the journey from the parking lot won't wipe him out before he gets into the park!

Once we have the annual pass I think we'll park at the New York Hotel and then just walk but i'd like to know what the normal lots are like first.

Thanks in advance!

We've never used the official car park byt from what I gather it is quite a walk from there into the parks. There are no trams like at WDW but there is a moving walkway - but its not always working. There may be disabled spaces nearer the entrance if your Dad has a card at all.
You do have to pay unless staying at an onsite hotel (and I think some off site hotels give a voucher or something for free parking)

The other option would be parking at the Village- this is more expensive- you are charged by the hour but if you intend getting dream APs you could park there go in and get the APs and then move the car to New York

On the first day of arrival we parked in the parking lot but were right at the front.

The walkway was working and it seemed not bad a walk at all.

After that each day we parked in the New York. It didnt seem any quicker than the previous day but more picturesque.

both times we have been,we have got there early and been able to park near the front of the car park,3rd or 4th row or so

so not too far to walk :)

but if you are parked right back, then it would be a loooooong way / walk! :(

my advice get there early!

its about 8 euros a day IIRC
