We will be doing the dining plan for the first time next week.

I know that the credits are loaded on to your room key, but are they loaded on to just one room key or are they on all the separate keys of the guests in your party?

If they are on separate keys, is it possible to just get room keys for my kids without their dining credits on them so I can hold on to the ones with the credits?

They should be responsible with their room keys, however, they aren't always & I would hate to see one misplaced that has our credits on them.

If you are doing a package, their tickets will be on their room key also. I always hold onto all the keys. Even DHs! If we separate I will give his up but never the kids. If you have older kids, they will have access to the meal credits and you can even put charging privledges on the card. It will just be charged to your room account. Hope this answers a few of your questions.

I don't know if you can ask not to have the dining credits on your kids cards??

Yeah, my kids are older & it's not that they can't hold on to their cards or that they lose them - I would just feel better if I held on to them, but if they had their own to get in to the rooms.
