HELP!!! calculating UY and reserving

Please,please, I need a quick answer,and can't find it anywhere- planning to transfer some points,would like to make 11 mo. res. using them -our UY is Aug - The transferred points would be UY Dec- will we be able to transfer the points,and use them NOW to reserve? (need some extra)
am trying to figure out if it will work- any help is desperately appreciated!:goodvibes

Reservation date has nothing to do it. All points use is based on the date of stay. If you are looking to make a reservation for January 2009, both August 2008 and December 2008 points would be considered current year. If you want to use 2007 points, they would have to be banked first. But in either case the reservation could be made based on the home resort windows.
