Ice rink?

I heard that, in winter, there is an ice rink outside Hotel New York. Does anyone know if it is still there or when it closes?

According to DLRP Magic (who are usually spot on) its open 27th October 2007 to 6th April 2008

Cost is 12 euros and 10 euros per hour including skate hire open from 230pm

til 530pm (I think it was !!)

also did an evening session from 730 pm

what do they do with this space when it is not a rink?

just big empty space?

garden area?

When we went they were using the area as a kind of play/activity area. They had different kinds of bikes out, stilts, space hopper things etc. That was in 2004 so not sure what they do now.
