I remember someone posting the answer a few weeks ago, but I saw 2 different color childrens ponchos at Walmart (red and yellow) and want to get a color that isdifferent than the standard Disney colored one.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that the ponchos are yellow with a picture of Mickey on the back.

The WDW rain pocho's may also make an inexpensive and useful sovenier.
Can they be personalized with a permenant marker ?

Maybe write your State and a happy face (or something) on
the back to be able to find your family ?

I would never write a name - maybe just initials.

What do you think of the idea ?

We have yellow ones from disney with mickey on them. They are pritty bulky to carry around so we started buying the $1.00 ponchos and tossing them out after a few uses. They are much smaller to carry around unless you have a stroller to keep them in.

I still have my sons and it is definitely yellow with Mickey on the back. In the rain, it is a sea of yellow ponchos. Go for the red ones at Walmart.

I am not sure if the same is true for WDW as for DLR but in December we got Blue ones with the resort logo on the back. Those leaving Disneyland had Yellow ones with Mickey on the back. So if you want to be different (which sounds like a great idea to me) I would avoid these two color basic blue and "rain coat" yellow)

It depends on wehre you buy them Most of the park ones are yellow and not very strudy. Especially hte kid ones. The ones they sell at AK are tan and much thicker.

Buy one all folded up and bring it with. That's what we do. We buy the wallet ones folded up and put them in our fanny packs until needed.

They were yellow in February (had 100 year celebration on back). They are cute but the problem is that you can't find your kids because everyone looks the same! I would suggest getting the .99 ones for two reasons--cheaper and you can find the rest of your party.

I agree buy the red or $99 clear one's in the sea of 100's of yellow hooded mickey's walking around it is very easy to lose each other - especially the kids. A different color or clear would really help.
