Tequila Bar.....

I am posting this thread in the Adults Forum because it's an adult drink topic, but if this is incorrect, I understand! :confused3

However, I read in a newsletter I received today that this Tequila Bar in the Mexico Pavilion is to be finished by Summer 2008......

How do I know if this is a rumor or true?

Any more word on this???

DH and I are going Sept. 20 thru the 28th and are SUPER excited at this possiblity.....

I am not sure of the answer to this, but am pretty sure there are a few here who are well aquainted with adult beverages. I tend to favor a more herbal approach myself.

New Epcot Dining Experiences Coming
In China, a new Joy of Tea outdoor cart features hot and cold teas, frozen green tea concoctions and alcoholic choices such as plum wine and wine green tea slush. The pavilion's Lotus Blossom Café has been renovated and features a new menu that includes Beijing barbecue chicken, sesame chicken salad and rou jia mo, a popular Chinese sandwich made with sliced beef stuffed in toasted wheat-flour flatbread.

In Mexico, a 50- to 60-seat tequila bar replaces a retail shop in the pavilion's spacious indoor courtyard in summer 2008. And the pavilion's waterfront Cantina de San Angel is expanding with more seating with optimal views of World Showcase, and will offer a new menu by summer 2008.

Cool- this sounds fun! The DH and I love all the beverage choices at EPCOT.

I've always thought they should do a sort of adults only event at WS at night so that people could drink as much as they would like to, without having to be cautious of how they act in front of children.

I hope that they do this, I was looking for some Tequila choices there and all they offered was a frozen (out of a machine) Margarita or Dos Eques........so I had the beer but a Teqilia Bar would have been great, I have faith that the DIS will let us know when and if it happens.
