DVC Rental Points & Dining Plan Question

Hi everyone... First - thanks for all the great information I have gotten from everyone...

We have rented DVC points for our stay Dec.22-27, 2008... I have indicated that we want the Dining plan and the person that we rented from indicated that when making the reservation... I see it listed on the confirmation. I know we pay for the dining plan when we check in.... But...

Does it matter if we want the regular dining plan on the deluxe dining plan? Do we have to make that decision when making the reservation? Or when we go to pay for the dining plan at check in can we tell them which plan we want?

It needs to be linked into your reservation at least 48 hours prior to your arrival at the resort, including the type of plan you want. Since you are renting, if you decide you want the deluxe plan, I would contact the DVC owner at least a month before arrival (since it is holiday season) so they can contact Member Services.
