I can't think of what it's called, but I'm asking about that newer Disney resort close Downtown Disney. Has anyone stayed there? How is that place in an ECV? Is it a nice resort, are the pools themed and nice? How are the rooms, and how big are they? Can you get an ECV in them? How's the food? I wonder if it would be worth a try or not.

I guess you are talking about Saratoga Springs. This is DVC/Villas. So all the rooms (Studio through 3 bedroom) have cooking facilities.
All the Disney rooms on proerty are large enought to accept an ECV.
I don't know about dining.
You may be able to get better answers on the Resorts or DVC Forums.

When we've stayed there the quick service food location was always quite crowded, of course usually in the morning and evening during popular dining times. They had a nice selection though- a little nicer fare than the food courts and also a little section to purchase food items to bring back to your room- microwaveable meals, bread, cold cuts, etc. Lots of people get their food and bring it back to their rooms however there are plenty of tables/chairs that are easily accessible with an ECV right outside the dining area. There's also a TS restaurant and bar area that I've heard are quite good although we didn't eat there. The walkways are paved- easy to get around the resort. One of the nice things we saw were large families using the bbq grill and picnic tables outdoors. If you stay, request a room close to the check-in building if you plan to dine at the resort as it's quite spread out. I agree to post specific questions about the resort on the DVC planning board. ---Kathy

We have stayed a number of times at SSR.
It is a nice resort and has paved walkways all over.
Here's a picture of the food court area (called Artist's Pallete). We have eaten there, but not in the full service restraurants.

I don't know what size room you are thinking of, but they have studios, one bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and Grand Villas with 3 bedrooms. You would not hae trouble getting an ECV in any of them.
Here's a link to the DIS page about SSR. (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/Resorts/saratoga.htm)
