I was just reading the U/IoA FAQs and one of them said there were no fireworks at either park. Is that right? It was a long time ago, but the first season IoA opened they did a fireworks show on the water that was one of the best fireworks displays I've seen in a park (a close second to Illuminations at Epcot, in my opinion). They didn't do it every night, but it was put on occasionally.
So is it true they no longer have any fireworks? If so, what a drag. I love fireworks.
There is a show when the park is open late during the summer months.

I've heard they had too many complaints from the surrounding neighborhoods, mostly debris falling into people's yards and that is why they have so few firework shows.

That's when I'll be there. I'll keep my fingers crossed that my days are right!

I live across the street from Universal, actually can see Portofino Bay from my window and have been here for about 5 months and have only seen fireworks once and that was near NYE. But I can imagine that some people in the area may complain it backs up to alot of homes and when an event is going on AKA Mardi Gras, etc we can hear it here at home.
