MCO to WDW for 1 person

My brother in law is joining us in WDW, what is the cheapest, fastest way for him to join us? I've heard Mears can take a few hours to finally arrive after all the stops. Where do they stop first--we are at POR? How much would a taxi cost? (BTW-we arent renting a car)

I beleive that a taxi will cost about $40 one way. Why not have a towncar service like Tiffany http://www.tiffanytowncar.com/ pick him up? The cost is $40 one way with the $5 coupon off.
