This will be our first time staying at the YC concierge. For those who have stayed concierge before, how much do you tip housekeeping? It will only be myself, DH and DD. We're not messy and we usually leave a $3 tip per day. Is this too cheap? Do you find you tend to tip more at a deluxe or when staying concierge? On our last visit in Nov. we were staying at the GF and we felt we were tipping everyone!!LOL;) On a trip the year before that at CSR, we didn't feel like that at all.

I have always heard the basic rule of thumb of $1.00 per day, per person. I don't think it has to be more because you are in concierge. I do, however, adjust my tipping for great service. If housekeeping does a phenomenal job with hospitality, then I tip more...

We also left a tip on the pillow in the evenings for the turndown service. At the GF and Poly, it was the turndown housekeeper that did cute things with my kids' stuffed animals. At the GF, she put my daughter's Belle doll in her pajamas and put her in bed--my daughter was thrilled!
