resort pool - visitors??

We are staying on site, -- can we have friends come to visit us at our resort pool? It is unclear now whether they will be staying at a different WDW resort or off-site.

You'll have to ask the front desk. Technically, the pools are only for resort guests, but if you're staying somewhere that the pool isn't very popular at a time when it's not very crowded, they will probably tell you that it's okay. If you're staying at the Y&BC, then no.
