How many people can there be on each adventure?

Assume there would be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 35 people on a tour. Add to that 2 ABD guides and then assorted local guides (depending on the tour). All in all, the group size is quite reasonable. I've tried other tours where there would be 50 people and a single guide. ABD is a lot more comfortable, I'd say.

ABD brochures list "up to 40 guests" on tours. So that would be the maximum and as far as the minimum goes, only ABD knows for sure.

It is definetly a max of 40 and they do not budge on that. If there are only two spaces left, they will turn down a family of 3 instead of going 1 person over. I had it happen. As mentioned you than have 2 good and in some locations also a local specialist
