DKP--does that mean Debbie owes you a sundae? I was trying to think of something good to bet, but was too late to the party.

I see you've figured out my strategy, Bill--to try and get as many people "owing" me a sundae as possible. The bet was a calculated risk that seem to have paid off! ;)

Guess I owe you a sundae Debra!! I just recently found about all these Disney races. By the time I tried to sign up for the 1/2 marathon in January, it was full. There's no way I can attempt a full marathon. The Minnie 15K will be my first race. Although, if I finish the race Sunday, I may sign up for the ToT in October. We'll see. Not sure if I can trust my 17 year old son to stay home alone. I've already overheard him trying to get together a party while I'm gone. Just what I need. Don't really want to be on the news when I get home (you know, Mom gets arrested because her teenage son had a party while she was out of town for one night). I'm driving up tomorrow morning and driving back Sunday afternoon. See everyone there!

By this time you're partying away at Minnie, and meeting all your fellow WISHers. I'm willing to bet you another sundae that you're going to be jazzed enough to sign up for ToT after this weekend, teen or no teen! :woohoo: (I think you should bring DS along to ToT--because there will be a party there for him to attend!)

SuperDebbie, I believe there are still slots for the half available through Anthony Travel if you really want to go. I would check it out. Another place is a charity like TNT.

Just wanted to tell you guys that I wore my new eye2eye shirt today. I got a TON of responses from other walkers/joggers! Everyone loved the shirt. The words on the back of the shirt are big and pretty much take up the whole backside. So, it's easy for others to read. I hope everyone gets their shirt orders straight!

WooooooHoooooo!! :cheer2: My shirts came today and they even say MY name on them!!!! I ordered two different styles. I would say they run a little small (ladies). I am usually a size XL, but they didn't have XL in ladies, so I ordered 1X. For those of you who don't know, 1X is a little larger than XL. I would say my 1X shirts are like a ladies XL. I am sooooo happy (and lucky)!!! Well, gotta go now. I hope others get their shirts today!

Thanks for posting the size info! I'm a medium unisex and a xl woman's running top, so your info has helped:goodvibes
If you get a chance could you post the width and length of the 1x?
:worship: thanks!

Here is my Large Ladies with reg neck and short sleeves. Front and Back,

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j286/dsnyfan/WIsh%20Stuff/wishshirtfronta-1.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j286/dsnyfan/WIsh%20Stuff/wishshirtbacka-1.jpg

And here is what it looks like on (don't think I am a great model....)
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j286/dsnyfan/WIsh%20Stuff/wishshirtfront-1.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j286/dsnyfan/WIsh%20Stuff/wishshirtback-1.jpg

Shirt measurements: At the top of the sholder line just before the sleeves it is 16.5 inches across. At the spot just under the sleeves (underarm) is 20.5 inches. The bottom hem line is 22inches across. The length of the shirt if 28inches.

I do have some suggestions for maybe some little fixes.
Back side:
As you can see I think the back is too long - the printed part. Some people have more in the trunk area and the shirt folds in that area so it is hard to read it. Also is you use a fanny pack or something the shirt will fold there. I also think the lettering is too wide from side to side. I think the WISH part is too large. Just some thoughts on that.

Front Side: I think the lettering is also too BIG or WIDE. It takes up alot of space. I think I could do without the characters, eehh? When using a fanny pack, fuel belt or my spibelt I have the clips for my bib and it would then block my name and the characters.

Just some thoughts, especially seeing the other WISH shirts. Maybe just a shrinking of some of the lettering would work, like if the lettering was at 100% on the shirt then make it like 80-70%, and then after shrinking the lettering, move it up a bit and leave the bottom blank except for the castle and stuff. Just some thoughts on that.

Thanks for posting that Tracy. Not sure I would want that WISH across my bottom. Not exactly my smallest feature. :rotfl2:

It is a cool looking shirt though. :thumbsup2

Thanks Tracy ( dsnyfan21 ) for posting the info.
Did you get the Loose or tight fit (Performance)?
I'm thinking it's going to be too long:confused3
I agree with shrinking the lettering:thumbsup2

Just a note, I have been emailing them to see how eye2 eye might want to resolve the incorrect order sent to us, they have yet to respond. Will advise with any results.

Anyone else have any luck contacting them???

Here is what I ordered according to the WISH order form we got from eye2eye.
Ladies shirt, t-shirt style, Comfort Fit, Crew Neck, Shot sleeves, size large. I can wear a women's Large most of the time, but sometimes a medium. I wear a unisex medium or a man's medium.
Yeah, maybe we could find the person who did the graphics and have them change it a bit, kinda like the one I saw at the Minnie. I am not too sure of having WISH real big going across my butt enhances it or slims it??
I think the lettering or words go too far down the shirt.

SuperDebbie? I think we came across one another a couple of times. I pretty sure it had to be you I saw on the streets of New York. I was chasing down 2 other WISHers (we were playing leap frog in a way) and was wearing Minnie Ears. I'm so glad your shirt arrived in time.

I'll probably wait a bit and then order. I still have to order my Marathon photos so one purchase at a time ;)

Both the eyetoeye and race ready shirts looked comfy :)

Debra? Are you getting hot fudge or caramel as the topping on that sundae? I think we should get sundaes in January though it will have to be AFTER the races ;) LOL

Scott: sorry to hear your not getting a good response from them. I like the shirt I just think it needs a redesign of the lettering. Maybe they can't keep up and hopefully its just growing pains. ????

i know, i guess they just dont want to hear it.

i even emailed the sales department and no response ... i think its just a small operation and they are all the same people working production, sales, etc....

DH and I are going up to Toronto to visit his family and do a 5K, maybe i'll try to pop in there???

i did get my shirts Monday (our housesitter called and informed me. i ordered a ladies 1X & 2 men's Large. all 3 are different sizes. one of the men's large fits me fine, the other large is snug and the ladies 1X is very snug.. :( im still losing weight, but it would be nice to have it fit.

they feel like they dont breathe too well though. anyone wear it Sunday? how did the fabric feel?

I wore my new eye2eye shirt on Sunday at the Minnie 15K. Unfortunately, this was my first ever race and I don't have any experience in clothing that has "wicking" (whatever that is) - that is supposed to breath. I didn't have any problem except that since the shirt is long and has to go down past my large hips, it kept riding up. I got two shirts, both v-necks. One is sleeveless and the other has short sleeves. I like the one with short sleeves better. All in all, I like the shirts. I kind of like the big lettering - easier for everyone behind me to read. I got lots of great comments during the race!:cool1:

Men's large, v neck. Slightly loose, and a little bit longer than I expected (I'm 5'6"). No tucking in my shirt on race days.

If you feel like it that would give us an idea of the company and if they seem like they have there act together.
I still feel like we need to change the lettering and raise it up a bit (I think the shirts are longer than we had thought.) Also, I am not sure how the color (limeade) came about, but I think it need a bit more brightness or maybe more yellow?? Not sure who can help with any changes we might want.

Again, hats off to every WISH member who invested time into trying to arrange things with this company. It is obviously no fault of anyone here that things are not working out with eye2eye.

Personally though I will never order from this company again.

After I did not receive my shirt in time for the Minnie, I submitted a paypal claim before I left on May 1. I also emailed the company on 2 occasions.

Just arrived home yesterday and not only has the company failed to respond to any of my emails, they have also not responded to the paypal dispute claim that I filed on May 1.

I also never received any tracking information from them, even though I spoke to Kevin on the phone on May 1 and he had promised to email me with tracking info within 10 mins.

I am sorry, but whatever the reason I view this as completely unacceptable.

I intend to continue with my paypal dispute, get my money back and never deal with them again.

And I will find out tomorrow if the shirt ever arrived at my office once I return to work tomorrow.

I agree 400000 %. All who worked on this did a great job.

I also did a Pay Pal Claim, we did talk to Kevin on Friday, and he asked I send him an email, I did and no response to date, will give it another week.

Anbody delt with www.bikeatac.com. Looks like they do dyesublimation shirts and not just for biking. According to the website, it looks like you would need to order a bunch and not just one at a time, but can't really tell.

Also I saw another website www.diem2.com that does sublimation and offers singlets, sleeveless, t-shirt and then such , min order is 10 items.

When will the next RaceReady or what ever the other one is go out??

i have no idea what im going to do ... i love the printing quality of the shirts - i havent worn them for race quality - i did finally receive (after Minnie), but the sizing is totally wonky (one Large is a different size from the supposedly same size large ???)

their customer service (HA) stinks and Kevin is giving the company an even worse name...

Just to update, my "couriered" package, (which was promised to have been shipped out on April 23, but which I was later advised was not sent out until April 25 or 28) was never received, either at my home confirmed paypal address or my office address where I asked that the package be sent.

Kevin promised that he would email me tracking information on May 1. I have yet to receive anything.

I have also yet to hear anything from the company in response to my requests for a refund on May 1 or with regard to my Paypal dispute claim which was filed on May 1 before I left for WDW and escalated to a dispute on May 12 upon my return from vacation.

I'm looking at another order late summer. As fro teh Race Ready, we are not sure if they will continue doing team orders. Mel can update with that when tehr eis info available.

As noted on WISH Structure thread, teh group has been talking ablout streamlining teh WISH Gear. The goal is to have shirts that will meet the optimum amount of WISHer needs.

My own belief is that we take this process a bit slower to avoid the headaches there were before the Minnie and after receiving shipment from i2i.

Training report:

Okay, I tried the Eye2Eye shirt for a 6 miler today, at a 9 minute pace. The shirt material does not wick sweat away like a dry fit shirt. I was soaking wet my 2 miles, and I was drenched by the end of 6. I prefer the Race Ready shirt material, and will stick to that shirt for racing in. Eye2Eye will be used for WISH meets and walking around the parks, but not for running in. My friends liked the design of the shirt, and everyone liked the WISH slogan on the back.

that is very discouraging to hear. im leaning towards opening a dispute with paypal due to the fact i was promised the shirts before Minnie, the sizing is wonky and now the non-wicking.

they look very nice, but if they dont do their job and wick away sweat ... eww ...

I heard from the RaceReady owner yesterday. They would be willing to do another order for us. My time frame would probably be August since I'm on vacation in July.

The shirts do run small though. Is everyone okay with continuing with RaceReady as a vendor?

My mom has one of their shirts and I ordered some (all too small though). I really liked the fabric! If I could lose some weight to fit into them ( or order a mens) I would likely order from them again.

Our bigger WISH members may need to stick with AlertShirt. I will be ordering those in August also. They are wicking material and many like those. SOme feel teh Raceready breathes better, though. That's why that opiton was added. We are working best we can to find the optimum options for all WISHers.

This is me--from the back--in a medium. (I don't tend to have pics of me taken that show my face; call me quirky! :rolleyes1) I'm on the small-chested side. The medium fits across the shoulder, but if I actually had cleavage I'm not sure it would fit. Also, the shirts fit where they should, length-wise, but they don't conceal my tummy. FWIW, I usually wear mediums in racing shirts, Gap t-shirts, etc. Let me know if you want more specific size information.

All that said, I love my RR shirt. It's a v-neck, lightweight, and comfortable wicking material. On the next order I'll probably go a size up. I also own an Alert Shirt, which run MUCH bigger. I sweat a little too much for the AS to be entirely comfortable for me, but I wore one at the January 1/2 anyway and loved the positive WISHer attention!

This is the sizing info from the RaceReady website: RaceReady Shirt Sizing (http://www.raceready.com/misc/sizetech.html)

Some women did order the Tshirts and trail shirts that are men's sizes. I have a ladies vneck in large. I'm 5'5" and 150lbs and it fits me just exactly. I wear medium to large in regular clothes.

The fabric is CoolMax and a lighter weight than the Alertshirts.

This is Jen on left and me on right in our respective shirts:

I ordered an XL Race Ready shirt. It fits normal. It may seem snug to some, but tech shirts tend to be that way. I wear a Large in the Alert shirts, and Alert Shirts are longer.

Some women ordered the mens trail shirt from race ready and I am not sure how that fit them. I believe those were cut a little larger.

I bought a Race Ready singlet in a medium. I definitely found it snug. As for the shirt itself - I LOVE it! Very comfortable, lightweight and cool!

And as for the update on my eye2eye claim: I spoke with Kevin yesterday. I told him that although he promised to send tracking information on May 1, nothing was sent, and furthermore, I never received my shirt. He said he would send me a cheque. I asked for a refund thru paypal as that is how I paid. Not sure why he wanted to send a cheque. I am not closing my paypal claim until I have the funds in hand.

Off the subject: Nice back arm swing and position of the hand, but too much forward arm swing Duckie (Jen).

I like the shirt and would wear it, but I think I would need a XL and hate to add it, but would love for it to be a bit longer, but would still get one and hope I can get rid of my pouch with my Pilates Core work - which I need to do more of. OMG did I just go on and on or what??

Mel: Yes, my 2 cents say stick with Race Ready vendor, but everyone needs to understand to order one size up than what they typically wear. My large fits me a little snug, and I'm only 5'6".

As I reported earlier, the Race Ready wicks sweat away way better than the Eye2Eye shirt. I'm used to dry-fit material in my other shirts (New Balance, Russell, Nike, even Disney race shirts), but the Eye2Eye material is not the same dry-fit material.

For those who have both, is the race ready sizing similar to the black Minnie shirt we got at the 15K? I really like the Minnie shirt but I like to run in a longer, more loose fitting shirt. Maybe I will need to order a mens size when its time? Are they longer than the ladies shirts?

I would say the race ready sizing is similar to the black Minnie shirt from the 15K. I have a sleeveless raceready and the Minnie Shirt and I find them to be comparable in fit (close fitting and short).

AlertShirts would fit you and tehy are wicking. They are a little heavier adn probably do't breathe as well, but I ran teh full and teh Minnie in those the last 2 years and I am not heat tolerant.

I think the RR shirts are a bit looser than the Minnie. I got a large Minnie shirt and it's too tight to wear. The length is about the same. The men's shirts are longer than the ladies.

I haven't worn my eye2eye yet - arrived after I left - but I did want to add to Carrie's post - that I really like the alertshirt.... first time wearing it was the minnie, the wicking Tshirt, and am also don't do well in heat, but had no problems with the tshirt, thought it very comfy and more important wasn't clingy.

I think the RR womens shirts (in large anyway) are slightly larger than the minnie shirt, my Minnie shirt is tight on me, but the RR shirt is not. The mens style would be longer, for those who do not want a short shirt. We were wearing RR shirts for racing before the WISH order.

Stick with RR shirts , Eye 2 eye fails to respond and Paypal will not honor my claim.

Scott H - Sorry to hear that you aren't getting any results :sad2: . That's pretty bad when both can't seem to help you out any:confused3 . Yeah, I think i2i is done for now and their looking back at RR or maybe into another supplier that can handle multiple orders and are trustworthy.

Yes such is life, I don't want anyone else here to have to deal with these folks like I have.

So if ya see me at a race and my shirt says Kate, it's me Scott. LOL

Scott - I completely concur.

I was charged, paid on April 22 and have yet to receive a shirt or refund despite repeated promises.

I do not feel WISH should have anything more to do with this company.

Generally I am very tolerant of mistakes and try to work with companies as much as I can. On the Race Ready shirt order I was one of the ones willing to take the shirt without complaint with the "Dish" boards slogan.

But for eye2eye to take money from customers, not fill their orders, and not issue an immediate refund when it comes to light that you never shipped their order - that is just unacceptable. I hope we both get our money back from this company, but based on everyone's past dealings with them I will not hold my breath.:sad2:

Wow, I am so sorry for all the WISH teammates who didn't get their shirts. :(

I agree that this company should be avoided at this point.

This is one reason I think we should "streamline" WISH gear. Personally, when I saw that people were signing up to order stuff, I assumed that these were all reputable companies. I think it would be safe to say that most WISHers would feel the same way. I don't care if it's Race Ready or someone else, or even two vendors if we need to accommodate more sizes, but I would feel better if WISH could forge relationships with vendors to help avoid this in the future.

Of course WISH is more than a shirt, but it was the shirt that helped people know I was WISH on the inside! :goodvibes

I did have an outstanding Paypal claim. However, the refund was done voluntarily by eye2eye. Paypal had not yet rendered a final decision on the claim.
