AAAHHHH!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Maaaan! I had like 2 roller skating birthday parties (but do you remember those roller skates you put on over your sneakers?) during the 7 years I was an 80s kid...I remember glow-in-the-dark pajamas, my mom's BIG hair (she got a perm), shoulder pads, slap bracelets, friendship bracelets, high-tops (i tripped), converse canvas shoes, Madonna when she was Mad Donna, David Brinkley, Ronald Reagan (i called him president ray gun...!?), the Disney Hour (and then the Disney Afternoon...talespin was my fave), Epcot "CENTER", John Denver (he was in heavy rotation in our house), Bruce Springsteen, Metallica when they had long hair, Paula Abdul, 'Pepsi Free' and 'New Coke'.. uhhh...the McDLT (anyone?) ...Anyone remember those plastic spoke things you put in the wheels of your bike to make the clanking sounds? I couldn't figure out for the life of me how those girls did the skip it thing (but i can't get the jingle out of my head...). I watched Fraggle Rock, Smurfs, Silverhawks, Thundercats, etc. and I got up at 6:30 or 7 to watch Saturday morning cartoons... Oh, does anyone remember those huge balls you sat on and bounced? I loved those! You know, it's funny...for most of the 80s into the early 90s, I thought everything was kind of tacky...up until about 1994/95. I dunno...there was too much stuff to remember~! It's all good...thanks for the time warp!

I was born in good ol' '82 and every single one applied to me (except the girl's fashion stuff). Although some of this stuff is late '80s, early '90s.

Remember laser tag? Those red and black vests and black guns?
