Ok, so I finally got a code and I was SO excited! It was dated 3/30 through 5/21 but said it was Saratoga Springs or Old Key West resort. Said rates starting at $249/night (room only). This is good? I don't stay at these resorts I didn't know. The email also said to call and check other resorts/dates so I did.
But I got nowhere! The lady was nice enough but not very helpful. And the rates she was quoting me were the same as I was pulling off the website. So what was the code doing for me, I ask? She put me on hold for 4 songs (lol) and when she came back she informed me that my dates were the problem because my code had blackout dates of 4/9 - 8/9? Um - so my code is only REALLY good from 3/30 to 4/9?? Really?
I'm not sure that I understand what the deal is with it (it's my first code, after all!). I asked if she could check and see if my DH had one and she said, "yes, it's one digit off of yours." When I asked what the PIN was for she told me that I'd need to check his email (he didn't get one) because all of the details would be in the message.

We want to be there 5/25-5/31. I understand this may be bad dates to get a discount of any kind but it's DD's b-day and our anniversary....
