We have now decided to stay at a non-disney property so where shall I buy my park tickets??
We went to disney (florida) last month and got the tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct.........
We probably want admission for 4 days and we probably don't need to hop - any advice :confused3

If you are planning to return at all within 12 months?
you may want to consider APs ( annual passes )
they are 129 / 179 euros each http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/practical/annualpassports/

The normal break point of an Annual Pasport (AP) is normally around 3 days :) Last year I think a Fantasy AP was €1 dearer than a 3 day ticket.
That of course was before discounts were taken into account.
An additional benefit is that by agreeing to be sponsored you can get another 10% off of the AP price.
Have a look at the sponsor thread for more details :)

Hi!
I do not know about any discounted DLP tickets, but I recommend you the Fantasy Annual Pass (as long as it is good for your dates). You can buy it at the parks when you arrive.
FYI: The multiple day tickets at DLRP always include park hopping.
Other advantages of the Annual Pass are the discounts on Merchandise in the shops, food and beverages at the restaurants and free parking at the car park. This can be particularly important for you as you are staying offsite. As already said, the break-even point of the Fantasy Annual Pass is around 3 days.
Have a magical vacation! :wizard:

OK, so I've read some info on AP's but most of the links I click on are in french :confused3 which I'm afraid is beyond me :lmao:
How do I actually go about buying one and where from??? Are there any english language sites selling them :confused3
Apologies for being such a dimwit :rotfl:

You can buy them when you get there because if you order them on the phone you have to activate them within 30 days, also if you do that i'm not sure you can be sponsored.
I think you get your temporary one at Guest Relations?? just to the side of the main entrance.
You then get the proper one at the the Annual Pass Office which is situated by the entrance of Discoveryland opposite the right hand side of the Castle.
I think you still need to buy a one day pass but this will be deducted from your passport.
I hope this is right as I don't have one myself. If it isn't i'm sure people will correct it:thumbsup2

Oh OK, it sounds a bit like Chester Zoo, where we had to buy a day ticket at the entrance then enter the zoo and buy an annual ticket. The cost of our day tickets was then refunded ;)
Funny, but I'm not sure how happy I am to travel there with no tickets at all, daft I know, I'm such a stickler for getting things sorted in advance but if the breakeven point is 3 days then it defo sounds worth it. Also there IS a chance we could return within the year, we've only just got back from Disney Florida so we definately have the bug :rotfl:
Thanks again for all your replies - much appreciated :thumbsup2

Watch the restriction days with the APs. I looked into it and found that the exact days we were planning on going are restricted.
I suppose that means it's going to be really busy 11-14 August .

If you buy your AP at guest relations before entering the park you dont need to buy a 1 day ticket as well. You pay for your AP there and get a temp one to take to AP office to get your real one.
You only need a 1 day ticket if you chosse to enter the park first then buy at AP office. You will then get this 1 day refunded but not if bought as part of a package
