It went quite well, I'm normally so nervous in interviews that I don't do very well but I kept them in check yesterday.

They are interviewing a lot of people so I won't be getting my hopes up but I've also found out some info that means I doubt I'll take the job even if I get it.

It was a good experience though and I'll keep looking for a new job.

Its not the job itself. At the moment I have a final salary pension which is obviously a very good and increasingly rare thing and I thought i'd be able to keep it in the new job as it was internal but that part of the company is up for sale so once it is sold i'd have to leave the pension scheme and I don't really want to do that.

But if the job is better you might want to take it anyway. There are no guarantees with any pension scheme you are in that it will stay the same, DH has been with the same firm for 23 years and they've changed the conditions of his pension twice in that time.

I will wait and see what happens. I've heard they don't pay very well plus the risk that whoever buys them would then make people redundant is another issue.
