Were any of u in WDW Jan 19-25

I was in Disney this year on those dates. I also must say I was in Disney the same week last year for the MLK holiday. I found the parks much busier this year. It seemed everywhere I looked there where these gigantic touring groups with hundreds of people all dressed alike. I am looking to plan my next trip but don't want the same kinda crowds I experienced this year. Any suggestions on a quieter time of year?

Those groups you saw were probably were probably at WDW for a special event over at the Sports Complex! Special events/games are scheduled at the Complex throughout the year. I do remember one day last month when I stopped by the Complex and there wasn't a parking space to be found! They had soccer tournaments, gymnastics, cheerleading comps, etc. If the large groups you saw mainly were older teens, this is what you encountered. Most of them stay at the All Star Resorts.
