Vwl Points

I'd like to purchase 55 points at this resort direct thru disney. Has anyone just recently bought at this resort? Were there plenty of points available thru disney? any info will help pass the time. I just called my guide and left him a message:thumbsup2 I hope he calls back soon!!

Congratulations on your decision. Our last VWL add on was over 2 years ago, March UY and we waited about 2 weeks for 25 points.

PS. I remember it well. We were at VWL, enjoying our very favorite resort and one of our family ( my DMom) mentioned that having more points there would be a great idea. Well, we bit, we called from our room.

if this is your first purchase at VWL - might consider 60 points - enough for a studio for 5 days in adventure or choice seasons.

We do own 180 points at AKV. If we do purchase those points at VWL, with banking and borrowing, our plan is to go there every 3rd year. During adventure time we could get a 1 bedroom for 6 nights:thumbsup2

Your only problem would be for DVC to have those points in your UY. If they don't have them in your UY, they won't sell you 55 points until they do have them.

Don't know your use year, but I've added on 3 times at VWL (Dec uy), and have never had to wait.

I added on with 110 points at VWL in December with no wait. I have a February use year. I hope it works out for you!
