This is the survey they used on the Fall 07 Livejournal, and that I used on the Fall 08 Myspace Group lol

5. Where do you live?: South Florida
6. What role will you have at Disney?: Not sure yet
7. What are your arrival/departure dates/program (fall, fall advantage, fall quarter)?: Fall Advantage, probably arrive in June.
8. Which apartment complex would you prefer to live at? Do you prefer wellness or non-wellness (if over 21)?: wellness obviously :) Had Vista last time and wasn't so bad. Plus the rent is cheaper! Lol.
9. How many roommates/rooms would you like? (1-7 roommates, 1-4 rooms)?: Three or Four bedroom
10. Do you like to party? Will you be hosting parties in your apartment?: Never really party, don't plan on holding serious ones, though movie/game nights might be fun. Get togethers, you know?
11. What's your favorite food, and more importantly, can you cook well?: Pizza, Mexican, Italian, Sushi. I can cook moderately well.
12. If your friends could describe you in three words what would they be?: kind, mature (yet silly at times), respectful
13. What kind of music/movies do you like?: oldies, disney, some rock, and country is okay. Movie wise, disney, musicals, and comedies.
14. Do you smoke, and if so, inside or outside?: I don't smoke, Asthmatic also.
15. Do you drink? (socially or alcoholic): never drank
16. Are you a night person or a morning person?: more of a night person
17. Are you driving or flying down?: driving up.
18. What do you do for fun?: Theater group, hanging with friends, and talking on the phone currently.

20. What are you most excited about in being in the WDWCP?:working at Disney World again! I want to make the magic happen!
21. Favorite things to do when not working: hang out online, theater stuff, have fun, read, and sleep
22. Name one good quality about yourself: I listen very well, and can be a good friend to anyone I meet
23. Name one bad quality about yourself: I can be really shy at first, but will warm up after a while
24: Your college: Broward Community College

26. Any medical conditions (optional): Asthma and Hypoglycemia
27. Are you messy/tidy?: I can keep my stuff tidy, and I'm usually pretty good about it when I'm not home. If I am really busy (with like work or something) you might see a couple things on the floor and an unmade bed. I hate having a messy kitchen though, (I got hurt slipping in our messing kitchen last time while trying to clean it up), and find that having everyone have a day to clean the kitchen works out great!

I live here in Florida about only 49 minutes away from Disney.
mmmm...I am a Freshman at a community college.
I am studying to get an AA in Dramatic Arts. Then i want to go to UCF (in Orlando :) ) and get my Bachelor of Fine Arts in the field of Stage Management. So i want to be a stage manager and work my way to Broadway. :) And trust me i will get there!!!! But i wanted to be able to place Disney on my Resume! I am really looking for any amount of roommates! OW and i had signed up for costuming!!! :) i really haven't heard from ANY costuming CP's at all. so hit me up if you were in the program in the past or signed up for it for fall advantage 08!!!
ow and i am 18! my b-date is 6/7/89 so i get to celebrate my birthday at Disney!! :) that is if i get an invite to the CP program! :)

Joanna, what would be your ultimate dream job for Disney? Just curious!

I would love to be an Imagineer. I've always looked up to them ever since I first formed my obsession with Disney - a long time ago.

My dream is to be a performer at WDW. But if I can't ever get that (not that I won't keep on trying), I am happy with staying with character attendant.

I've always wanted to work for Disney. Everyone says I must be crazy, but I know i'm not, it's just something I would love to do.

Whenever I go, I always say to myself "these cast members are so lucky! I wish I could be just like them"

So hopefully one day I will be...

Are you planning on doing any PI's?

Me too. I have always loved Disney. And when I found out about the CP during my first semester in college, I knew right away that I had to do it. And, when I got my perfect location in the park I wanted...it was fate.

I would love to do a PI. But unfortunately I won't have a car for some time (which you need for a PI). So it looks like I will just have to settle for another CP.:laughing:

Well, the more the merrier! And just think of it this way - 4 CPs, you'll have a greater chance than anyone at applying for a PI!

hmmm... well I think I may prefer wellness because I do not want to be stuck in a room with the one person that decides to throw all the parties. But other than that, I lived in Vista before and loved it but I am really interested in seeing how much Patterson will cost and what it's like.

The most you can have, it's cheaper that way.

I do and do not party. I go to the #1 party school in the country but the summer I did on CP in 2006, I didn't even drink at all. In fact we threw mini parties in my apt and they were to watch High School Musical over and over haha. Disney was a good enough high. I do not want to live in a party throwing apt.

I can eat pretty much anything and if I cook well probably won't matter much, you rarely get together dinner time with roomies. Job schedules usually don't allow haha.

I read somewhere that as long as your 21st birthday is within 10-15 days of your check-in, you'll automatically be put into non-wellness!

Do you have to be put in a non-wellness apt. if you are over 21??? I personally do not want to be around any drinking, I have not taken a drink in a year, and want keep it that way!!!! Are there wellness apt. in chatham???

I'm sorry - I don't remember. I read it a long time ago when I was trying to figure the average age of participants (I thought I would be too old). Anyway... here is a post from facebook from a former CPer that confirms that it has happened at least once:

From what I've heard, I think I would like Chatham or Patterson

As for movies, I love chick flicks the most, but I really just like any movie that will entertain me. I do NOT watch horror movies as I tend to get nightmares lol sad but true

I'm a hooker for asian food and potato-anything. I can cook well when I set my mind to it...except Thanksgiving 2 years back....the peach cobbler hit the floor after coming out of the oven....but that's techniqually not reflective of my cookin' skillZ.

Respectful of others--to the point of being a pushover and being disrespected, great and listening--and TRYING to give good advise, and detached but cheery--I'm always putting on a smile.

What kind of music/movies do you like?: One-hit-wonders, 90's pop/rock, a little bit of techno-dance, Japanese Rock (Say-wha??), Aerosmith, David Bowie, Eisley, etc. As for movies, I -obviously- love disney and animated films...this includes anime and grim classic fairytales. I'm a loser for The Labyrinth, Last Samurai, Brick---pretty varied assortment.

14. Do you smoke, and if so, inside or outside?: No ciggarettes for me. I do enjoy hookahs though, they smell and taste sweet--especially kiwi-apple. ;9

My number one is hospitality since it is my major and I have experience working in hotels and such. I know its kind of late to apply so there may not be many other roles. I am also interested in merchandise, recreation, attractions, character attendant, and Full service food and beverage. I've heard people say that quick food and beverage is probably one of the only ones left. I really want to come to Disney but not particularly for that but I guess I would accept it if it was the only thing left.

Here's how a Disney representative explained it to me-

You can request to room with a certain person, but there is no guarantee that your request will be honored. Most likely you'll room with others that arrive around the same time as you do (such as the people before and after you in line).

No. You only will room with people who check in the same day as you (unless the apartments are full- then you will be put into an apartment with people already there).

haha, i know where grand ledge is! you guys played us in a playoff football game one year. haha.
i'm from holland.. it's like forty-five minutes southwest of grand rapids.. right on lake michigan.
but, it's like an eighteen hour drive.. and i plan on splitting it up into three days. i would really like to be in orlando/kissimmee/lake beuna vista/whatever the night before check in so i can just get up and go straight there and not have to worry about beating traffic on the high way or still having to drive three hours or whatever.
but how fun is that! yay, michigan!

I'M SO UPSET ABOUT THE OPETH TOUR. I'll also be missing Opeth up here because I'm going to be down in Florida for the two tour dates that I could have gone to (Albany and Montreal). I'm missing Dethklok at the Hard Rock too. Life!

No you dont have to wait until you get there. You an do the roommate notification and as long as you each have each others acceptance numbers, then you will be paired together. There is more information on this on the website. Just know that if you do the notification, then you will not get to choose the location of your apartment.
