Just want to pass this tip along for those who may be interested.

Radisson reservation site has a current promotion whereby entering the code 'FALL' their $139 rooms come up at $59. Certain suites come up at $99. No breakfast included for this bargin! It is a web special however we did ours by phone w/o any questions. No info as to when it ends. Has anyone stayed in one of their "Caribbean Rooms" ? We just reserved 5 for our Dec cruise...now, to find descent airfare for 17 ;)

I went right to their site and got the 1 bdr. suite for $99 on October 9th( the night before our $99 cruise on the Wonder). I am so excited to be going back and this really makes the trip!!!

reserved a romm for $59 for the night before our 8/31 cruise. Thats a great deal considering I paid $89 for the same room last september.

Our family is also considering this hotel but I do have a few quick questions I hope someone can answer. Is this the hotel that allows you to park your car there while your on the cruise and how far is it, walking distance, to the beach?

We are driving down and figured if they do allow you to park your car there that it would be a great deal!

THANKS OP!!! I called them and got our room for our Sept cruise. I also said that I was a Gold Points member and had my memebership number put on the ressie. That should net me 2000 goldpoints for the stay.

Thanks for the tip! I was able to call and modify my reservation for August and take advantage of this great savings!!

I was told that the cruise parking would not be included, though, that you had to specifically book a "cruise parking package". I will still be saving money even if I have to pay for parking at the port, so I went with the discounted rate.

Thanks for posting this info! I called our TA and she couldn't do any better than $114 per night.........so she advised us to book on our own! So we are now all set for the night before our May 4th cruise!..... Thanks again!

Oh 4Nana...Thank you so much! I just booked a suite with whirlpool, 2 king beds and a sleeper sofa for $99 for the night before our trip.

What is the deal with the cruise parking package though? Do they give you something for your windshield? Do they not allow all guests to leave their car? I didn't see anything on the website about this "parking package." Does anyone have information on how a car gets to stay there and what happens if one stays that didn't have the "package?"

If you drive you are allowed to leave your car while cruising on their 'Cruise Parking Pkg' @$109 a night and take their shuttle to the ship. However it does not seem valid for this $59 bargin. We are flying in and renting vans @ Avis, so parking is not an issue for us. Hope this link works and is helpful for rates.

i tried to call the desk today to modify my reservation to the promo price but was told the reservation desk was not open on weekends and i will have to wait to monday . will this be too late ? or is there someone else i can call today?

I did ours by phone and would call Radisson Resv @#888-201-1718 give them your conf # and they should be able to modify your resv to 'FALL' promo :)

we were going to book a 2 room suite for the night before our 12th October Magic cruise and got really excited at this promo!

it dosen't matter to us that breakfast isn't included ( who needs a full breakfast when you are going on THE ship in a couple of hours!) but we do need parking. the reservation page quotes $144 for their"GO package inc. full breakfast for 2, a "GO-PACK gift" and an upgrade to their best available room. Does anyone know if this is the package that includes parking? ( I couldn't find a cruise parking package ) and has anyone ever had the GO-PACK gift? what's in it?

We want to book on line rather than phoning from the UK and the $99 deal sounds great, but it's weighing up if the extras are worth the extra dollars :)

i tried the number you posted a most confusing conversation.he told me the reservation i already have which was quoted at 119.00 is 139.00 and that the promo is sold out . i guess i'll have to wait till monday and call the hotel directly , but only i could call for a promo rate and end up having to pay an extra 20.00 thanks anyway, tomi

This is great. Does anyone know if the 1 BEDROOM SUITE and the 2 ROOM SUITE are the same room? I could not figure it out by looking at the website. I booked a 1 bedroom suite with 2 king beds and a sofa bed and was trying to figure out if it was more than one room or not.

YES! YES! YES! I am doing the happy dance! I had a reservation for a one bedroom suite at a rate of $129 the night before our June 16th cruise. I just called and they changed it to $99. Just gave them the 'Fall" promo code. Thanks alot!!!

4NANA - Thanks so much for the info. We had a AAA rate of $99 for the caribbean room, but with the code I upgraded it to the suite w/ 2 Kings for same price. We are very happy not to have to sleep on a double bed!!!

As far as parking...I booked a hot deal off the web last fall and had no problems leaving my car for the week. I didn't have any special cruise parking package and they knew we were leaving the car. They just told us to park it up towards the front, on the side and we didn't even have any paper or sticker or anything for it. Nothingwas ever said about a cruise parking package.

As far as the beach... I don't think it's walking distance. It was rainy and dark the night we were there but there was a lot of traffic and the hotel sits back on a main road.

Help, we already have res. for March 30. I just called about the promo and was told they knew nothing about it and it was not coming up on the screen. I called 1-888-201-1718. Is there another number or could it be because this is Easter weekend?

Anyone have the more details or the dates for this promo?

I was not able to get this rate for the night before our may 25 western cruise. I am not sure if it is because it is a holiday weekend or if it is because the hotel is pretty full. I noticed there are not suite rooms available. When I called hotel directly, they had no idea what I was talking about. I will try radisson number directly tomorrow, but I think I am out of luck.

SUMFUN With your reservation number you should be able to go online to the link listed here and change your reservation. But also, as someone wrote, you can make a new one and cancel the old.

All rates at the Radisson include parking, as far as I can tell. I think the "cruise parking" rate is more of a marketing thing. You don't get any decal or permit. You just park your car and leave it. :-)

I easily made the change to my reservation using the Radisson Website. My sister-in-law made her reservation over the phone so needed to call. The reservationist asked her where she heard about the promo rate because they are getting so many phone calls. She said her bosses were asking them to check with callers. She told them that I had told her about it, but she didn't know how I received the information. She didn't give her a hard time and changed her reservation to the $59 rate.

DH phoned the hotel and got us a suite for $99 for 11th October ( see you there Luminere999!)

He also checked with them about parking while we are cruising and was told that it IS included with this deal.

it may have cost us a couple of dollars to phone from the UK, but we are saving $$$ on the room.... thank you so much for sharing this promotion with us all 4nana:)

We also got the Caribbean suite and we aren't arriving until late so access to the beach didn't enter into our decision. I think this is a great deal!

Just a note of thanks for that timely tidbit of info. We had two rooms booked at the AARP/AAA rate of $99.00. Called the 800 # and had them make me a new set of reservations at $59.00 + tax for a total of $64.10 each room. Saved $80.00 enough for some diving on Cozumel during the Western Inaugural. Called the Radison reservation desk and had them cancel the higher rate which they did without any problem. Thanks again!

DIZMARE: You have had the 2 king bed suite before....That is what I booked for November. Are both kings in one room, just like a regular hotel room, then the sleeper sofa in the living room area? Is there a privacy curtain that can be pulled around that corner tub?

Hi my3kids!

Yes, both king beds are in the same room with the sleeper sofa out in the living room area. No privacy curtain around the tub - it is right out in the open in the same room as the king beds. But, there are curtained French doors between the bedroom and the living room.

You could shoo everyone into the living room and close the french doors for some privacy. (Except you have three kids, and I bet at least one of them would be banging on the door with a plaintive "Mommy.") :)
