Do they provide transportation from the resorts to the 5K and 15K or is it one of those get there yourself type things like the ToT race?

And does anyone know the start times for these 2 races?

The Disney website says that the 5k starts at 7 am and the 15k starts at 6:15 am.

Transportation is provided if you book the package at AKL; otherwise, you're on your own.

You need to get to the 5K on your own. We did it LY and we took a cab from BWV to DTD for $10 including tip.

You can take a cab to EPCOT and Disney will transport you to AK. You will finish at Epcot and take Disney transport back to your resort when done.

If you're driving to the park for the 5K how much time would you allow once you get near the park entrance? Is there usually a line to get in prior to the 5K?

Ok, so what time does one have to get there before the race starts. We are staying at ASMu so it's not that far of a drive, just that we will have to get EVERYONE up at the crack of dawn - sigh.

Does anyone know if they're having special rates for any of the resorts like they're having for EE? $61 a night for Allstar Sports is a pretty decent deal.:thumbsup2

Yes its under the website, you have to book through Anthony Travel. All Star Sports is 89 a night.

And I forget what Coronado is.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I thought this would be a good place for this question.
My dh is going as my cheering squad for the Minnie 15K (couldn't talk him into participating) and our plan was for him to drive me over to AK for the start of the race. Is that allowed?
Also, where are the spectators allowed to be? Will they be at AK or at the finish in Epcot, or both?

Since this is my first one, I will feel more comfortable knowing what to expect.
