That river flows into the lagoon that is surrounded by the Beach Club/Yacht Club, Swan/Dolphin and Boardwalk Resorts. There is also nice walking trail for the adventurous (and in-shape) guest that follows along the river.

Thank you Harvey and Chalee. DH and I may wander over there and check it out in September.

no the castle is not crooked...and the highest spire is what people try to include that makes their pics appear that way at times...the castle is beautiful in all angles and why its photographed so often...

We just returned from our trip to California this evening and I can't wait to find time to spend looking at the photos that have been posted in the past 2-1/2 weeks. (Yeah - all that time without the DIS. Imagine that!)

But until that time I just had to share this with everyone. This shop is located across the street from the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd (in Hollywood :teeth:). Ya never know just where you'll see the Mouse next! We were on the way to the Hollywood Bowl so we didn't have time to stop in. Maybe next year we'll actually take the time to check it out.

Thank you for posting this QuiltyMom! That is from my old neck of the woods :goodvibes ! WE even had our graduation ceremony at the Hollywood Bowl and that experience was really cool :) . I haven't been back in years now and that shop wasn't there when I last visited. I can't help but think that if I never moved away that shop would have been my home away from home, when I wasn't at Disneyland that is!

Is Main Street inside a building or something in Tokyo?

There is a roof like structure over the top of main street. My guess is that they need it for the rainy season and it preserves the themeing of the area. Although it serves a good purpose and helped to cool down the area (that day), for me it took away from the hometown feel.

WOW! PopArtGal found Belle in a ball gown! I am shocked. We have never ever seen her in anything other than her blue day dress, even when we went to Cindy's castle for breakfast and everyone else, including Mary Poppins, was decked out in their best. Impressive.

Belle wears the yellow ball gown when she's the "Main" Princess for character meals at Akerhaus in Epcot. I actually prefer when she wears the blue & white every day dress.

I personally prefer bright colors to all pink and foofy. My three little girls have all started out in a blue room, and are turning out mightly girly. :cloud9:

Tell PF that when she gets in early labor she should eat something, drink a bunch of water and take a nap. The walking the mall is the modern equivalent of boiling water. Mostly it just keeps you busy until its time. A good nap will help MUCH more in the mean time.

We don't actually think it will be that long. I think she's gonna pop soon. I hope so. We're ready. In fact, that's why we're posting this evening. Not posting Disney pictures, per say; but pictures of Ariel's nursery that is, of course, Disney themed. There are 12 pictures total. Sorry there are so many. We just had a ball doing the room. Her room was my computer room for 12 years. In all honesty it looked like a crack den. I'm so gald we got it fixed up. BTW...Killz is evil. I think I lost a few brain cells using the stuff. Well, on to the pictures. Would love to hear comments on the room. And, yes, the paint colors are Disney colors. Would you expect anything different?

I love your baby signing book. We started a little late but we have our daughter letting us know when she wants more of something or when she needs a bottle. It makes things much easier. Enjoy parenthood.

I was thinking about you two (three) as well! I love the nursery! It's very colorful and inviting! I was looking at all the little things you have all ready for her, her first Barbie, her little shoes, the diaper bag! It's all so exciting! Job well done!

Can't wait to read about little Ariel's arrival, won't be long now! Tell Princess Fontaine I wish her a speedy and uneventful delivery!

Thanks I think ;) It was taken at the Villians store in MGM and then I added the effects to it. I love that shop by the way !

DW and I loved "Villains in Vogue" too, until they turned it into the "Pirates of the Caribbean" warehouse outlet store.

Can anyone who has been recently tell me if they have scaled back on the pirate merch. there? I hate to say anything bad about Disney, but they should leave the specialty stores as just that!
