This is my "hidden mickey" antena ball with snow from our FREAK Easter snow storm. We live in East Texas and only get snow once every 5 or 6 years. NEVER seen snow in April before. Our last snow was 12/31/99. So this was a bit of MAGIC.:wizard:

Good Morning! Here's my POTD. On our first trip in Oct. 2004, we happened to pick the worst week ever to be in Disney. It was the week that my husband's beloved Red Sox made it into the World Series! Who would have ever known this would ever happen? This was a very hard week for him because he wanted to be home with the Red Sox nation watching the games. All he could say was, "The Red Sox are in the World Series and I'm spinning in tea cup!" He was a bit dramatic, but he sucked it up and put on a brave face! ;) Go Sox!

This is one of the many reasons I love to look at all of the pictures so much, I keep hoping to see my self in the background of someones pictures. It hasn't happened yet, but I keep looking!! :)

A little off topic here but, when I was a Junior in high school, my friend and I were ask to carry flowers and head the line of graduating seniors at their Graduation. Flash forward 18 years later, my hubby and I (he graduated a year ahead of me but we didnt really know each other then), were looking through his graduation pictures. He has picture of himself and who is clearly right behind him in the background???...me! Talk about foreshadowing!!1:lmao:

I know exactly what you mean! Like a doof, I booked my trip with Olivia during the last week of Oct., just as the Cardinals were up against the Tigers in the WS! Trust me, I've been a die-hard Cards fan since I was born, so missing that was killing me. I don't think I'll ever forget where I was when my Dad called me to tell me they won. I was walking to Fantasyland right in front of the Columbia Harbour House, it was during the MNSSHP...

So yeah, learned a lesson there. Don't take vacation the last week of October!!

It looks like the rose garden to me. If I'm right it's a meandering little path just off of the spoke leading to Tomorrowland on the castle side of the creek. This is just my hunch because I'm planning on taking some pics from down there in 18 days.

Wow! Thank you! I didn't know there were classes on colored shadows. Sounds cool.

We took these outside Rock N Roller Coaster. We were just waiting for the professional photographer when I noticed my children playing air guitar with their dual shadows. It was just by accident that we were between the purple and green lights. We started taking pictures and the photopass guy came over to see what we were doing.

I'm pretty sure no one is allowed to post attachments. Your pictures need to be "hosted" on another online website - most people use Photobucket, but there are many others. I use Webshots to host all my pictures usually, but find Photobucket so easy to use that I just have all my DIS board pics over there. If you try it, it really walks you through it all but I'm sure anyone here will be glad to help you if you have questions!

Ohh! Riding the safari in a light rain is the absolute best time to ride! I love to watch the elephants playing in the rain. They seem to enjoy it so much!

I was just at Concourse steakhouse 2 weeks ago and Chef Mickeys and Concourse is where it always has been.

Just wondering. As I stated ealier, I though I read some where that Chef Mickey's was supposed to switch with one of the other restuarants. Someone has posted a picture of the Castle that was taken at night from Chef Mickey's :confused3 and when we were then in June last year I couldn't see the Castle at all. Then again we were having to much fun with Minnie and Chip and Dale to pay to much attention to anything else

[DisneyIsTerrific]

My POTD is from Disney's Wide World of Sports. This was the starting line at the Disney Inline Marathon very very early in the morning on April 1. My 14 yr old DS (in the front row wearing the stars and stripes uniform) is an inline speed skater and wasn't about to miss skating at Disney. They skated through 2 parks (Epcot and MGM) as well as a couple of "back stage" areas. He loved all 26 miles of it! In the picture, they were just getting ready to start the "open" portion of the marathon. The pros had already started and done one lap by this time. The guy with the microphone is Derrick Parra an Olympic speed skater.

Yekcim, be my guest. I seem to be very attracted to the HAT but others on this board hate it.

I guess it depends on when you started going to MGM. I had not been to MGM till Oct 2001 and it was there. If I had gone before it was placed there that I might hate it.

I love the colours and the strong shape...Heck I even love the hand and wand on Spaceship Earth too...;)

I look at the PotD with my kids everyday to get ready for our trip in August. This is the first picture we saw today, and the kids were just soooo excited and happy to see a Power Ranger! They even practiced their Power Ranger poses for when they get their own pictures taken. So Cute :rotfl2: Thanks for this picture it made our day.
