For those of you who are unsure what this is, in '95 you were able to purchase bricks in front of the MK and I think it was supposed to go all around seven seas lagoon but I'm not sure if it actually make it. Ours is by the boat dock.
Wow!!!! I've wanted info on this for such a long time! I'm guessing they don't sell these anymore? We've got our photo's etched into the EPCOT monoliths twice (Love It!) and would love to purchase something like the brick.

No, they definitely don't offer this anymore. In fact, they only guaranteed the bricks for 10 years, so our time is up! They're still there though!

Yes, we did get engaged at WDW. My Dh who knows me all too well, decided to pop the question right inside Cinderella's Castle while we were dining at a window seat overlooking Fantasyland...I mean, does it get any better than that?! :love:

I have tons of pictures from my recent trip, enough pictures to carry be over until my next adventure in 12 days! :banana:

What better way to start than by posting an amazing view of the Castle. It was a blessing to watch it change to various colors throughout the night leading up to the Parade and Wishes - out of all my trips, I never really stayed to experience such a thing.

Watching Wishes brought tears to my eyes, it was amazing and I would never pass it up again. As I was watching the show I was thinking of everyone who was no longer a park of my life. Thinking how they would just love to be at Walt Disney World, one more time before their passing. After crying for about a good 30 minutes, we headed to the exit. Talk about a happy ending! Truly Amazing. :cloud9:

Yep it is & in 2004 I got to celebrate it at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party----now that was a perfect birthday. And I'll break the one picture a day rule by posting a picture of DH & myself at the party that night on my bday with the hitch hiking ghosts.

Missus Toad..The camera is a Fuji Finepix S5000, not very expensive. I do love it because it does take great photo's for what it is. I get the itch to replace it when I see the Dig SLR's, Canon/Nikon with interchangable lenses..AH :cloud9: ...but..cant justify spending the bucks when I can get decent photos.

Besides dinner at 1900 Park Fare where Suzy and Perla regularly appear, they many times can be found as you enter Magic Kingdom. Most times that we see them they are on the right side near the Expo building or Tony's restaurant - in that general area.

They have a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in GF which is awesome (Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, usually two Pooh characters), as as well as Cinderella's dinner (Fairy Godmother, "Cindy", Prince Charming and Suzy and Perla.

For the first part of the trip, she wouldn't have anything to do with pictures and when she did, she refused to smile (like the picture in my signature). People kept asking "Where on earth did you guys come from?"

We drove from Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada (our province borders on Maine), It took about 3 long days to get there and 2 very long days to get back home. We have a family of 5 and my fear of flying and the expense of 5 ppl to fly led us to the decision to drive, I was not looking forward to it but it was OK, fun even! Supposed to be a "Trip of a lifetime" LOL , my DH is now addicted so we are planning for another trip in 2-3 years.

This was at Epcot during the Characters in Bloom weekend. That was the only time I've ever seen her at Epcot. I've also seen her near the teacups at Magic Kingdom.

Thanks for the kind words. I was very pleased with the pic; I think it is my favorite out of around 2000 pix I took last week. My camera is a Fuji S5200. Main advantages, at WDW, were the long tele end of the zoom range (380mm in 35mm equivalence) and ability to shoot in high ISO (the 5200 goes to ISO 1600, but is very noisy above 800). I've gone thru about half of my WDW pix so far and uploaded what I consider to be the best of the bunch.
