I am trying to decide if I want to cancel my Acapulco excursion.

We are booked for the highlights tour which includes the clif divers. But it is 4 hours long. We really don't need to shop all that long. Thought about a taxi to just see the divers, but, THE WHOLE ship will be at the 1:00 show because there is not another one till after we depart, and trying to take a taxi just sounds scary.

It is soooo close, but not safe to walk to.

Decisions....decisions

Me too......I was forced to make an unscheduled stop at Walmart on my way home from the craft store. Had to purchase another $13 as per some other poster. Good news.....no problem and I put on my Sam's Card...........so it qualifies.

Another $100 club for the day!!!!

sry 2 change the subject...

I've been reading around this board and it seems STAR WARS III isn't going to be on the ship... Does anyone know if there is a movie theatre in Curacao? That's opening day and I wouldn't mind seeing it in Spanish lol. Otherwise I'm just going to have to use my force powers to override their decision to not spend the money...

Here is the dialogue;

Inspector Clouseau is checking into an inn. There is a dog lying under the innkeeper's desk.
Inspector Clouseau: Does your dog bite?
Innkeeper (shaking head) No.
(Clouseau tries to pat the dog. It bites him.)
Clouseau (incensed): I thought you said your dog does not bite.
Innkeeper: Yes, but that is not my dog.

I didn't really care for my pirate name but after going through the questions twice, I got the same name so I guess it must fit me!

I really hope our pirate costumes get here in time. I'm getting a little nervous!

So, what's it gonna take to get a DISboards group singing of Pirates Life For Me on Pirate night?

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me.

We pillage, plunder, we rifle and loot,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me.

We extort and pilfer, we filch and sack,
drink up, me 'arties, Yo Ho.
Maraud and embezzle and even highjack,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me.

We kindle and char and inflame and ignite,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.
We burn up the city we're really a fright,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me.

We're rascals and scoundrels, we're villains and knaves,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.
We're devils and blacksheep, we're really bad eggs,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me.

We're beggars and blighters and ne'er do well cads,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.
Aye, but wer're loved by our mommies 'n dads,
drink up me 'arties, Yo Ho.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me.

-steve

I figure about 6 martini's would put me in the right frame of mind, however even the nun's in grammer school asked me to sing softly at church so I may not be your man.

Thanks Ken, that was my first thought, so I dug out the card she sent me with her payment. It says: "we look forward to meeting you on the cruise in May" I sent her a PM, so I hope that she gets it and responds. If worst comes to worst, I have her address, so I can mail them once I get home.

Well, if you make contact - have her PM with names. Otherwise, she's going to miss out on the name badges/lanyards.

I only know some of those places because they play Holyoke in high school sports....that's where my brother teaches and my nephew goes to school.

And the WalMart in Sterling is THE place to go out there now!!!

My mother was born in Holyoke, and raised in Hillrose. My father was born and raised in Brush. I have an Aunt living in New Raymer. I always joked with them that the one screen movie theater in Ft. Morgan would show a G-rated and R-rated movie at the same time to get something rated PG. They never found that funny. :confused3

I've been gone now for around 18 years (wow, has it been that long?). I miss the mountains. I certinally don't miss the lack of oxygen. (Last time I was back I got altitude sickeness in Evergreen -- and it's not that high!) If I could import anything from Colorado to Florida it would be 9News. The news in Orlando is horrible. Any Denver station would run circles around Orlando news.

Oh, and the airport! I spend 5 years at the University of Colorado studying Political Science. I used the new airport as my case study for 5 years. It is a marvel even if many don't realize how perfect it is.

WOW left for a couple hours 10 pages to catch up on and past 10,000 Posts. I thought of a terrific way to keep this group together. As Everyone knows the rumor is that 2 more ships are coming to Disney in the next few years. I figure since we are the guinea pigs for this cruise, they should make us the official cruisers for all the Inaugural Sailings now. So when the New Disney Dream is ready to come over from Italy or Japan or whereever they build it, the cruisers are ready to go.

All we have to do is change the title of the thread to OFFICIAL DISNEY FIRST CRUISERS FOR ANY INAUGURAL CRUISE.

Hey everybody,
Will you forgive us if we don't take extra pirate clothes for the cruise.
Kristen is very sick and Billy has a migraine. We can't possibly get the office quieted down and have any extra time for special preparations. I can see this coming. I am stuck at the house while Angela is working at the office. She will be there past midnight. This will be a recurring theme. We did well just to get Billy a new suit today without him complaining. Don't forget that the kids will have five weeks of work to do in the next three weeks.
Getting on the boards here is my escape from reality. Thank goodness!!!
I will do the housework and Angela will do work at the office until I can also get over there.
You guys are just plain fun.

Rumor has it that I haven't posted yet ... true. I've been too busy reading these boards for the last couple of years and this tread since we booked our cruise last May to take the time to post. (Just when I think I'm going to get caught up, I leave my computer and come back to 10+ new pages to read!)

In fact, this is my second attempt at introducing us. I'm Dznelin aka Linda and my DH is Tigrrtum aka Terry. We live approximately 5 minutes from the Mousehouse here in California and both love Disney. We are both paralegals and love to read, travel and play with our three feline "kids."

This will be our second Disney cruise and are very excited! We just want to thank each and everyone of you for your hard work in planning so many extra things for this cruise to make it even more magical.

We are looking forward to meeting many of you on the cruise!

Kay, I'll have the office mail the things today you talked about. Two you mentioned and two you don't know about. BTW, I am not , repeat not, getting up to eat breakfast at 4:30 in the morning. You need sominex. What time do they start serving breakfast in the AM?
Got absolutely no office work done yesterday. This is NOT good.
Angela got home at 2AM. Kristen finally fell asleep. I just worked on the house for hoursl Need to be on the road in a few minutes. 7:03 here, 41 degree, Bob.
This is confrontation day with the headmaster and the school administration re Billy. Oh Boy!!! We document everything. Can't wait. Hard to fight something you can't win. I will post a little about the rooms this evening. Celeste, PM you this eve.
Toodles,
Bill

Okay, I hate to post and then repost...but...

I have been attempting to read the post from the weekend....WOW!!!

Linda in SLC- am I on your list to scrapbook? Do you want someone else to bring supplies or money- I know how much this "hobby" costs???

I heard some talk of M&M's- anyone else try the dark chocolate M&M's?? Oh my gosh!!! (if you were people who REALLY knew me, I would say they are better than crack! Long story- but I'll give this disclaimer- I don't know anything about crack) Anyways they are very, very good. I actually found the dark chocolate ones with peanuts....

I also thought I read about Disney's new ship being called the "Dream" True or rumor? Please provide a reference. DH and I were talking about names for the new Disney boat a few weeks ago and we both agreed it should be called the Dream.

What else...hmm?

Many, Many posts to read.

Anyone knit?

(I'm thinking of driving to Madison, WI to buy yarn...that is 4 hours round trip- but they have the best yarn store I've seen anywhere.)

OH...I saw something about exploding toads in Germany....

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1517&e=9&u=/afp/germanytoadsoffbeat

Not that I don't like animals but- come ON
The thought of randomly exploding toads is pretty funny...atleast to me.

I had a nightmare about the cruise last night -- I went to check in at port and the passports were still at the bank in the safety deposit box!! OMG! I woke up and nearly fell out of bed I was shocked.

Ok, today, it is off to the bank to get the passports out of there and keep them here with my other cruise stuff. I'll feel much better then.

Morning everybody!

When we were on the Wonder over Easter, we talked to an officer about this very subject. He says they are working on 2 ships, (cheaper when you buy 2, lol) They are still having trouble with the euro/$ exchange rate, but have design mostly done. They will be 1/3 bigger! He said they expect to have a 'hull in the water' by 2009. That seems to be a long time off, but at least it's coming! They love the name, btw!

We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,

Poor, Kara! I'd start walking to FL if I were you......just start early! :goodvibes

Btw, how much are your parking tickets? Ours are $15 if they haven't gone up recently....glad only a few places are enforced, and I'm not usually in that part of town!!! I remember when they were "only" $2 and we thought that was awful!!! :rotfl:
Okay, so once again I'm behind reading and catching up with you all...seems you just can't shut up on the weekends!

Anyhoo, to answer your question Kelli, the parking ticket came from the lovely city of Palo Alto (translation = expensive) so the ticket is $27. Not terrible, but still cuts into my cruise budget!

Another very busy week, so I'll do my best to keep up with you all! No docs here yet, still not even printed. Is it just me, or does DCL seem to be even more disorganized than usual for this cruise?

Catherine, Thanks for the Pink Panter clairification, Which one wast that secene in??

That is from "The Pink Panther Strikes Again," the scene where Clouseau goes to Bavaria to rescue Professor Fassbender.

(Big fan of the Pink Panther movies since I was a very small child. My dad used to take me to see them. I didn't get the adult jokes then, but the slapstick stuff was funny, anyway. My favorite scene from that movie is the assassins chasing Clouseau through the Oktoberfest.)

My cruise nightmare (which I was going to post on my cruise blog but will mention it since others are having them) was forgetting to go on the cruise and going to work instead, and not realizing it until my coworkers asked in the middle of the day why I wasn't on the cruise.

Well today and tommorrow at work then Wednesday - Sunday head down to WDW in Florida for a few days.

This really starts the busy time for us this short trip then back for less than 2 weeks and then the cruise will be here.

Final packing getting everything ready to go, reconfirming car rentals etc, finalizing things at work. Ah too much to think about.

Thankfully have a computer at my Dad's house so we can keep up with everything.

Hope by Monday when we get back that our documents have arrived.

Everyone have a good week. Will check in but not as often.

Help me find out

Ok I only have a few seconds because I'm at work and it's totally busy. I'm behind on the times. Haven't read through this thread in like 6 weeks but has anybody received their trip docs yet? We haven't and I'm starting to be concerned.

Thanks

Joy
Joy,
It seems most people have not received their documents yet, only a select few.

If you look at the people here on the DIS that has their documents already, they are most likely on some sort of Disney “Watch Out For” list, and therefore had their documents expedited! ;)

FYI for all you Costco travelers....I just emailed costco about my docs. Here is what they wrote back:Dear Serena:

Thank you for emailing your question to us. We contacted Disney Cruise Line this morning and their document department advised they will be sending your cruise tickets to us within the next few days. Once we have had a chance to check them over for accuracy, we will be forwarding them on to you.

I'm not sure if this is just for my docs or everyone who booked through Costco.

Hi Serena

We booked this cruise and the past Xmas cruise through Costco. On the Xmas cruise, I called Costco and they said just about the same thing as they told you, then the next day the docs came direct from DCL. So, I really don't think anyone is sure about the docs status.

Laurie,

I was there on Friday. They have all new princess costumes. All the princesses are in the new Cinderellabration show, so they made all new ones. The little girls' matching ones are GORGEOUS! Tinkerbell's treasures has all of them, and some really cute Capt. Hook and Peter Pan ones too, but the aren't new. The dresses won't be easy to get in a suitcase though... really big bell shaped skirts. As a mother of all boys, I can't wait to see your little princesses all dressed up! That's a highlight of the day for MK cast members. We think they're so cute!

OK, so I sincerely hope you're at our table, Steve. You'll get along exceedingly well with my husband. He only likes drinks that are pretty colors with layered liquors that don't actually taste like alcohol, and he only drinks them on vacation. We have a small foofie drink budget in our expenses.

Yes, Madison is a pretty cool city. I spent a week there, this time last year and REALLY liked it. I am just trying to decide if it is worth the drive- just for yarn....

I knitted a gift for one of our secretaries- flaming orange "fashion" scarf...she wore it yesterday with her scrubs. I now have 10 people who want them....including patients. Maybe I quit nursing and become a professional scarf maker... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I would like to make a nice shawl for the cruise....maybe out of recycled silk yarn. :cloud9:

While I have not received my documents- I have received my passports for myself and DS. They became outdated this winter....only took 25 days to get them....not bad

Thanks Catherine fro the Pink Panther , very good flicks, what an comedic artist Sellers was.

Yes we do occasionally see Harrison, Not lately, Lynn has talked to him a few times. There are several other in this area. VP included, I used to be involved with his visits but not now.

Yes Wyoming has great State Tax Laws, in that we do not have a State Income Tax, YES!!!!Hence our planned retirement to FL, No state income tax there either.

Keeping up is getting to be a chore and I will confess I have done a bit of scanning. Lynn will be the one to read in detail.

That my sense of humor wouldn't be understood. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (I'm kidding!)
It's hard to portray intent and emotion with little black letters on a screen.

Scott- I knew you would be amused by the toads. By the way- in my mind you are a surgeon I work with. From the picture on tiggerfan.net- you look alot like him....but he sounds like he is from Austria. So when I read your messages, I hear and think Dr. Jandalli. BTW- I like this man, he's very funny...dry sense of humor....all with a monotone voice. Celeste; I read the toad thing with interest but I have to say when I clicked on the picture a part of me was hoping to see some action :rotfl:

It reminded me of when I was about 10 and in Hawaii. We were driving down the road and my Dad swerved the car so the tires wouldn't hit a frog and we cheered for my Dad until there came an awful thud from under the car, stupid frog!

10 more days till DD9 and Ds7 and I are off to POFQ to get bignets from Renae.

Renae, please cut me off when I show up in the mornings unable to do the button up on my shorts, thanks. Maybe that is what is happening to the toads too many fat flies in the neighbourhood

Spoke to Disney Cruise Line today they tell me that the documents should be printed tommorrow or Wednesday. They will then send them UPS 3 day delivery. So most should get something on Friday or Monday. They also told me that once the documents are printed that we can all call and get a UPS tracking number that will show when they are due for delivery.

Was concerned due to us being at WDW this week. Have some nieces staying at the house who can sign for them, just wanted to be able to tell them when to look for them.

Just one note he told me none of the documents had been printed for this cruise yet, told him I didn't think that was correct as people have gotten them. He tells me those were requests for early documents from people only.

I actually think it would be fun to wear our jammies - sounds like a plan to me.

I have some from WDW that look like they could be regular pants - very cool :cool1: :cool1:

Laurie,

I think these are the newest versions of the princess costumes. Maybe someone who has seen them can verify? I would guess they would be just a tad less at the parks, as I know this site charges a fee for their shopping services.

Course looks like Serena found a much better deal at $15 each.

But it might help give you an idea what is available.

http://laughingplacestore.com/Category.asp?RC=330&P=1

We'll be at Disneyland on 5/4 if you want me to check on anything for you.

I would love to get the Dis girls together for a picture in their princess and/or Minnie (Becca :earsgirl: ) outfits.
I was planning on having Cammi wear hers on one of the semi-formal nights. I'm assuming princess is appropriate for semi-formal?
princess:

edited to add: just took a closer look and no hoops on these - so maybe they're NOT the new ones. Hmmm think a trip to the character outlet might net some booty at a good price if they're changing over styles?

I was just looking at the master list, and from looking at that it seems that Zane (6 1/2 months) is the only baby in the dis group? I saw a few 2 yr olds and one 1 year old, but it seems he'll have the itty bitty baby section at Flounder's Reef all to himself. Anyone w/a baby just not on the list?

No document dance for us today. We did get a UPS package w/DH tux accessories, so I guess I can do a formal night jig instead. :cool1:

Bell is doing ok I think. Most of the bleeding has stopped. Today is her last day of medication, recheck again this week. I sure hope all is getting better. Thanks for asking!

Too funny! We just got back from Party City looking at Belle costumes for Becca. I told her I would get her one -- she wants to wear it Pirate night (huh?) and I want her to wear it semi-formal night. So cool! The ones at Party City were around $25 or so. I'm going to look at ebay, also. Does anyone have any idea how much they run at the parks? I called our Disney Store and they don't have any costumes.

I think a Dis-girl picture would be so cute!

Edited to add: This is the one she likes -- we tried on a size 7-10 and it was huge, but I'm afraid the 4-6 will be too small.. What's a Mom to do?? :confused3

Joy,
It seems most people have not received their documents yet, only a select few.

If you look at the people here on the DIS that has their documents already, they are most likely on some sort of Disney “Watch Out For” list, and therefore had their documents expedited! ;)

Okay Bruce...you got some 'splaining to do (think Ricky to Lucy)!! "Watch Out For List"???

Just one note he told me none of the documents had been printed for this cruise yet, told him I didn't think that was correct as people have gotten them. He tells me those were requests for early documents from people only.

Sad to say.. but I wouldn't put much faith into what their theories are as to why some of us got docs and some of you didn't. In fact, the only phoning we did was to check out stateroom a couple of weeks back.. and that wasn't even to DCL but rather DVC.

I must admit, the fact that they are having such difficult punching out docs has to make you wonder. After all... there is nothing special about these... it is just another cruise. We had a similar experience the last time we cruised with them (back in 2000).... docs arrived 10 days prior to sailing. No rhyme or reason for the delay.

Good luck to the rest of you and here's hoping they get it sorted.

So... all you previous cruisers/planners out there....

Have you been able to pry out any theories on how DCL will be running ship's time with crossing the time zones?

One of the big selling points for my going Westbound is that we will hopefully catch one or two nights where we get an extra hour of recovery... oops I mean sleep. Nothing like experiencing that "fall back daylight savings" time effect .. on the Magic no less.

Wonder if the Eastbound cruisers have figured out the time deficit yet. :confused3

ZAZZLE SHIRTS

I think we're finally getting around to ordering, and I noticed that the "All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt" image was gone. The sweatshirt one is still there. Did I miss something? I'd really rather get the t-shirt. I don't think I'll be needing a sweatshirt on this cruise :sunny:

Still no docs for me :guilty:

I called Costco and they said they should be getting the docs from DCL this week....I won't hold my breath.

But I did have the lady call and get my flight schedule and to my surprise we don't have to fly out at the butt crack of dawn....we leave PDX at 8:15am and fly to ATL then on to MCO arriving at 6:15pm. A little later than I wanted but at least I won't be as crabby.

I actually think it would be fun to wear our jammies - sounds like a plan to me.

I have some from WDW that look like they could be regular pants - very cool :cool1: :cool1:

We wore our jammies to breakfast Christmas morning. It's a family tradition. We all had Disney themed flannel pants and shirts. all 13 of us! Our servers thought it was great.

Maybe we should have a Disboards members jammie breakfast on one of our sea days. I mean............we don't have anything else planned during that time.................

The costumes on the website aren't the new ones. The new ones don't have real hoops, but many layers of tulle under them. Some have velvet bodices. They look like ball gowns, and have lots of accessories. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of the older style in the outlets very soon.

Ladies,

The new princess dresses at MK ranged in price from $63-$85. Not counting, of course, all the goodies that make an outfit 'finished' as all 'proper' princesses will demand, lol.... Glad I had boys. Just wait till I get granddaughters, though... all bets will be off, and Disney stock will go through the roof!

So... all you previous cruisers/planners out there....

:confused3
Normally the ships clock is set for local time, so the evening before we cross into a new time zone the Navigator will have a reminder to set your watch & clocks back. In addition to being on the First Panama Canal cruise, I also figured in the time gained.

We’ll gain three hours, the East-Bounders lose three hours;

We have a six hour Longer Cruise!!! :cool1:

For many reasons! :) Our docs are here! Plus...

I *finally* got through the million messages since Thursday. We were in NYC over the weekend practicing how to spend money on the cruise. I think we succeeded (and exceeded) with flying colors. Stayed at the Plaza as it is closing, how sad. They are missing a few items, don't ask how I know, I just know ;). Tacky but true! Boy some things in that hotel really need some assistance! It really needs the makeover.

Hmm, as I read earlier...

We shop and we spend, then go back again
Charge up, me 'arties, Yo Ho.
We don't blink an eye, just go back and buy
Charge up, me 'arties, Yo Ho

Yeah we did that, by starting at David Yurman...there goes all my cruise money! Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A Pirate's Life for Me!

And we are almost done with packing. All my clothes are pulled together, now I have to see what fits in the bag and doesn't...might have to cut down a few things.

Have to ship my box of wine and then I'll be set. Ordering Disneyland tickets tonight, Fantasmic calls are later this week. More on that later.

OOOOOOOOOOH and as an added bonus...a top!

Adorable idea, but do we really have time in 18 days to all purchase/make matching jammies?

Robin

18 days????? That's a lifetime.

DIL, who was suppose to have taken care of the whole jammie thing, called me on Saturday night the weekend before we left (well, we left the next Friday at 6 a.m.) Please can you find jammies for everyone, we haven't had time to do it?

I had to find 13 pairs of jammies.....................................

Well, between Disneydirect.com (got 4 pairs for grandkids) and THEN between Mervyn's, Shopko, KMart, Walmart and Fred Meyer, I was able to get the other 9. Now, I actually purchased about 20 pair because I wasn't sure what sizes to get the SIL's. So on Thursday night after they got there, (Dec. 17) I had DH driving back to the stores to take the extra sizes because I didn't want some other disappointed person not getting jammies for Christmas cuz I hogged them all. Needless to say, DH went back to the stores at 10 p.m. that night to return the extras. Good DH!!!!

So, we've got plenty of time!!!

(Besides....I've already got mine. Me and Tinkerbell are all set!)

There is no rhyme or reason for this nonsense.

Not one good reason given to anyone when they inquired.

I would call and ask for a "supervisor" or someone higher than the nice CM - who answers the phone.

Just my 2 cents right now.

Last Friday I called Disney DelivEars and complained about a shipment they sent to me and I was very, very unhappy with the shipping charges.

I called and asked to speak with a supervisor in charge of shipping and not just a CM at the very earliest possible time.

At 4 p.m. today I received a call back and believe it or not, I got a full refund for the shipping on my items. Totally shocked, but I didn't let them know that !!!!!!

Made me very happy.

Just be persistent but very nice and it usually works.

There is no rhyme or reason for this nonsense.

Not one good reason given to anyone when they inquired.

I would call and ask for a "supervisor" or someone higher than the nice CM - who answers the phone.

Just my 2 cents right now.

kay

Kay-I did talk to a supervisor. Alan in fact, last week, you know the one going to call me back this week. He's the one who told me about "batching".

So far, it seems that no one that booked the first day has gotten their documents, so maybe Alan is right. hm........the minute I say this someone will post that booked the first day and say they got their documents..........

Maybe I need to talk to the Mail Room Clerk. they know everything!!!!

BAD BAD BOY!!!!

But did you upgrade or anything or change anything (late dining to main) on your original ressie that might have put you in a different "batch"?

According to my call to DCL................get this...................tickets are printed off in "batches" and according to what batch you were put in, that's when your tickets print.......................so I asked, does that mean the earlier I booked, the later batch I am in? Could be, they said......................

So I booked the 1st day, as soon as the cruise opened up on the ressie system. Anyone else out there from the 1st day who HASN'T gotten their docs yet?

That would be us as well. Sat on the phone with them till the computers allowed bookings. So in this case the early bird does not get the cruise documents first I guess.

Only change I made was to drop disney travel as I decided to book my own flights, was afraid of too many stops on the flight back. Oher than that I did not upgrade or make any other changes. I think I made the change to cancel the flights in late Jan early Feb.

Ennisb,

Did you orginally book directly w/ Disney then transfer your ressie to DU or did you have DU get you a reservation? I orginally booked directly w/ Disney then transfered. Maybe that's the difference??

I need a little help, please?? DD Kelsey has to submit some papers for high school while we are cruising. We are taking a laptop for her word processing. I know she can submit them online on DCL's computers, but what format does it take for uploading? (CD, 3.5 disk, etc.)?
Thanks -

I do not believe that the Disney Computers will allow you to upload anything to their computers. You might have to stop at a business center in one of the large hotels in one of the cities we stop in.

We got our docs last week.

Now, when we originally booked. All we could get was cat10. Later cat9 became available, so we upgraded. Maybe that is it.

Also, we paid in full, upfront. Maybe that is a factor. Don't know.

I booked directly with DU and left the reservations with them.

WHAT??????? Okay so did I, but no docs here.....and I'm only about one state up from you!

Speaking of docs, Disneyland said to expect them 2 weeks prior to your visit.......well, guess what? I will be on a 2 week cruise and won't be home to receive them! They said to call on the May 9th if I dont have them yet. So I have 2 sets of docs to worry about :rotfl:

SCRAPBOOKING WITH SEAULATER

SO...............WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING??????? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Well..............nothing.

HOWEVER, if you do want to help out in some way, here are a few things you could bring (but you DON'T have to, so don't feel like you need to throw this stuff in your luggage).

1. Scissors-if you have a pair of scissors that you can put into your CHECKED IN luggage (at the airport and for the cruise); that would be helpful, but don't go getting arrested at the airport for trying to sneak scissors in your carry on luggage onto the plane. We don't want to have to go bail you outta jail before we leave Port Canaveral!! :rotfl2:

2. Adhesive-now some are you are saying, what the heck is she talking about......okay.............I've got mounting squares for everyone for them to adhere their "stuff" to the pages I've created. However, some scrapbookers swear and live and die by certain things they use. I don't like glue sticks and won't have any with me. If you are an avid glue stick person, you might want to throw yours into your luggage. Some scrapbookers like using "tape runners". If you do, bring yours along. BUT.....I'll have enough mounting squares (like double sided sticky tape, but archival safe) for everyone.

3. Archival Safe Pens..............If you have archival safe pens that you use, throw a couple in and bring along. We will be doing a little writing (or alot, you decide). But, DON'T GO OUT AND BUY ANY if you don't have any. I'll bring around 20 pens or so, but we may need to do a little sharing!

4. RULES.....................remember, in scrapbooking there are NO RULES. Everyone can do (or not do) whatever they choose. If you absolutely hate my pages, that's okay. Change what you don't like and keep what you like, I won't be offended. And remember, I am NO EXPERT here. I just love to scrapbook and share with everyone else. I hope this is just a fun, relaxing time for everyone. Don't be afraid to ask questions or to ask for help! We are all here for some DISNEY FUN!!! :earsboy:

Okay, with that said............................that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Any questions, fire away and I'll fake my way through the answers!!!!

You might try this link, my favorite place to search for old movies.

http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/findresults_title.asp?mscssid=1DSC60F4JU549KQKAVJ0 CELBB5VEDE2E

Let's hope the link works, but did not see "the return" They do have a nice box set, and an out of print 1978 title.

You can't use your AP but they do honor the park hoppers.
