This thread is a continuation of the DDA Trouble Free Zone and DDA Chapter 3.
DDA originally stood for Disney Design Addicts as most of the posters were addicted to making t-shirt designs. Those designers are still here and many many more people have joined our friendly community. We think that DDA still fits whether you be a Disney Design Addict, Dear Disney Addict, Disney Dream-aholics, Disney Dream Addicts or whatever other acronymn you'd like to throw in there.
Welcome to all the returning posters and welcome to any newcomers that might like to chat about design and all things Disney.
Copied from Deb because she worded it so well.

Debbie - That is a terrible situation! I hope they can get something figured out quickly! I will keep your family in my thoughts! :wizard:
Debbie-your family is in m ythoughts and prayers
32 pairs of shorts?! :scared1: I think I have 4, maybe 6.
i think i might have 4!
Jen, I loved the blog and info on the "twins". I'm so excited for you two. Continue to demand the care you need and deserve! You are your best advocate. I can't wait to hear about the sex of our two new DDA babies when you are ready to tell us. :cloud9:
me too! im going to go with a 2 girls
Becky just told me that her boyfriend may have to go back to Iraq. He'll know tomorrow. He will be the first person that I know personally that is over there. I've had relatives and friends of my friends and my kids over there but no one I knew personally.
ETA: I just realized I forgot about one of my coworkers that went over there in the fall. She and I don't work closely together but she is on the project I'm on from a different division.
im sorry to hear that--im sure its going to be a long wait for them to find out tomororw---ill keep him in my prayers

Alright, I've got to run. The dr is calling in the new scrip, but the pharmacy closes at 6 so I've got to get there. Catch you soon.
Good luck with the meds!
Chuck just reminded me that we don't live in a warm climate which would be one of the reasons I don't need as many shorts as Elizabeth. Though, I don't think I have but 15-20 pairs of pants/jeans either. :lmao: Elizabeth, not only do you pack too much but you have too much! :rotfl:
FIRST of all, I have a job where I can wear shorts every day. I don't have separate work and casual attire - they are the same thing! I don't have any slacks, and I only have about 8 pairs of jeans. And I live in a warm climate. And I can't pass up a pair of shorts on clearance. And lastly there
is NO SUCH THING as having too many clothes! ;)
I just spoke to my sister-she invited us to a birthday party at ChuckECheese. We've never been to one. The kids should have fun.
She told me I sound so old.
Joe's got the cold now too and had the hives this afternoon. He hadn't eaten anything he hadn't had before so I think it must have been a viral thing. We gave him some Benedryl and it cleared up really quickly. He's cranky though-he must not feel well.
DS has had several CEC parties. They are loud, crowded, and expensive and the kids love every minute!
I hope Joe feels better soon! And you, too! Youshould be getting better by now!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is on TV right now! New version for those that haven't seen it... (which is probably just me and Bob...
I hadn't ever seen the whole thing. I did watch it tonight. :)
Denise - those are some pictures of you and the figs! Love the new hair too!!
Denise, I loved all the pics, old and new! :goodvibes Your hair looks great!
How can one accumulate 32 pairs of shorts!? ;)
I am gooooood at shopping! :rotfl2:
Elizabeth! Here is an article that will end the discussion of how to get all 32 pairs of shorts to WDW!!
http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/cant-travel-light-ship-dont-schlep/20080207103809990001
The thing about shipping them back and forth is that I worry about them getting misplaced by the hotel. And some of the hotels are starting to charge "storage" fees for boxes that arrive before you do. And shipping them home would be a pain because nobody is home during the day. I would have to have them shipped to work, then load them in the car and bring them home. But I will take this under advisement.
Maybe the rental car companies haven't gotten the memo that the economy is slowing, and they might need to be enticing people to rent a car!
That is just too sad, Jennifer. I can't believe she would treat her sons so differently!
:wizard: :wizard: for your mom, and that you guys don't catch it!
Elin, good luck with the car rates!
Jennifer, that girl needs to be slapped. I hope your sweet little nephew is doing OK!
Yeah, I had to figure it out earlier too. Terra and I stayed at the old Grosvenor for a night or two when we went for her 3rd birthday. From the site, it looks like they've totally redone the place. It was pretty nice when we were there, though our room was due for a little updating. We could walk to the Marketplace in under 5 minutes. I found that a lot easier than taking the DTD buses most days.
Is THAT what that hotel is? I remember hearing that the Grosvenor was doing a major remodel but I didn't know the name was changing.
That is really too bad. I hate to see siblings treated so inconsistently, but it's got to be harder when there are multiple families involved. Thankfully, DNephew has you guys to show him what a loving family really is.
I agree!
You people were WAAAYY too chatty while I was gone! I never did have dinner so I am going to have a bowl of cereal and go to bed!

Hope you all are doing well! After several mild days (mid-40's) we're back down to windchills of single digits or below zero. Boo!

First, a shot that won't appear on my blog or anywhere else. It's a photo taken on a high power microscope, not an ultrasound. But it goes with the theme ;) VERY few people have seen this (maybe nobody I know IRL?) because most people were not filled in on the whole process.
This was taken at literally 72 hours of existence. These blobs are my babies, when they had only about 8-10 cells! The whole thing just blows me away....

Those pics are pretty nifty! Our ultrasound was blurry - we have it on tape. There are some really clear images of DS's spine, his face, etc. but the parts that aren't skeletal are very vague. :rotfl2:

Yes, you may join me. :)
I do buy the whole grain white sometimes. The point is to try to cut down on high fructose corn syrup. I buy organic applesauce, juice pouches, and fruit/granola bar things because they are sweetened with sugar (or unsweetened). The Nature's Own wheat bread doesn't have corn syrup in it. Since DS eats next to nothing I want what he does eat to be at least remotely healthy.

I also need to pick up some crock pot items. I think I'll make a soup. I'd like to make large batches and freeze some. I have a new foodsaver, but haven't even tried it yet.
Have fun shopping!
Hmm. I wonder if JCPenney has any shorts? Just kidding.;)

I hope everyone is well.
I am surviving my week and weekend, it has been a bit crazy. I only went up to camp for about 12 hours yesterday and then came home, as I knew I would not sleep well at camp. I never do sleep well the first night. I had a good time, the weather was wacky. My volunteers were really trying to convince me to stay overnight. But I figured it best I come home and sleep in my own bed, as I have not slept much at this past week.
I think I am gonna take it easy today, but I should clean and do homework and some stuff for work.
There are some awesome vacation plan discussions going on here. They were actually started by my Dad and involve Disney. Let's just say I really hope they become a reality.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Safe travels!
Well, I'm going to dust myself off and try the crock pot chicken again. This time I'll be home and if it starts to overcook, I'll be here. I think it will taste great.:cool1:
My face is swollen, my sinus is infected again. Didn't I just go through this??
My DD and I are scrapbooking. We finished the room and it works great. The new washer is much quieter than the old one.
Good luck with your chicken. Hope you feel better! Enjoy your day!
Thankfully, the doctor called it in with time to spare so we are good. Plus, we have a grocery pharmacy that does free prescriptions on 6 top antibiotics, so it was free. The kicker to it all...the pharmacist hands it to me saying that there are several flavors. It is pink so I assume bubble gum (the offending flavor), nope she says....strawberry banana! WHAT?!?! That is what we were trying to avoid in the first place. Argh! At least we are set now. Terra's still now a fan, but she says that it is better than the bubble gum. So, we have a chart set up and $10 in disney dollars awaiting her upon completion of the medicine.
Good luck! What flavor did she choose?
Good night all!
I am headed back to the sewing machine. I have one more thing that I wanted to get done.
I have accomplished a lot this weekend though. About 3 outfits sewn, and working on number four. This one is a Tink one, so I am hoping that the pixie dust flies as I am sewing it up!:goodvibes
Leave a forwarding address for me too please!
Would love to see photos.
Olivia is watching snow buddies. I think every time she is just about asleep she catches herself and gets up the first time was for a bed time hug, the 2nd time was to bring me something I had left in their, the next 2 times was " I'm hungry"
I am trying to make her sleep in her room. Will see if it works and how long she stays in their
Good luck! We still struggle with that.
Here's a pic of Emma from before the birthday party. Her friend's didn't realize it was her at first.

I like it a lot but it's definitely not her! She has always complained that she wanted straight hair. "Why did God make me have curly hair?" Well last night after we put her to bed I heard her screaming at the top of her lungs. I go and check on her and she crying because she doesn't want straight hair, she wants her curls back! Oh the drama!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Cute! Hope the grumpys go away soon. Hope you're not getting sick!

Becky still likes white bread too. Chuck & I eat wheat. I don't know what Katrina eats. I'd like to get Becky off the white bread because we end up throwing a lot of bread out because it goes bad before the whole loaf gets eaten. We have decided to freeze half of it when it gets bought from now on.

Deb - thanks for the coupon!
Robyn - Emma and her hair dilemnas are making me smile. :goodvibes I guess we're never happy with what we've been given. I used to pine for curly hair when I was younger, but have come to terms with my straight hair at this point in my life. Tell her to wash those curls back into her hair!
I guess I'm weird - all this talk of white vs. wheat - I grew up eating nothing but wheat bread (that's all my mother bought). White bread grosses me out! :scared:
First, a shot that won't appear on my blog or anywhere else. It's a photo taken on a high power microscope, not an ultrasound. But it goes with the theme ;) VERY few people have seen this (maybe nobody I know IRL?) because most people were not filled in on the whole process.

I  Wonder Bread Whole Grain White. That's all we buy anymore.
Dallas isn't a market for Wonder bread. I know this because one of ExMomboss's friends from CA has a DD with the worst milk allergy I have ever heard of, and Wonder bread doen't have milk in it. We don't HAVE Wonder bread around here, so when they came to visit I had the privilege of reading every freaking bread label in the store to find bread that little girl could eat! The Pepperidge Farm whole grain white has high fructose corn syrup in it, so that's out.
We went to Super Target. $200 later we are home. Now we have groceries. And detergent. And fabric softener. Not sure how I spent that much money. But I went through the receipt and it looks right. I just realized I had another $2.50 in coupons from the Target website that I forgot to use at check-out!:headache: Sort of defeats the purpose of printing them. I also had a return that I managed to not bring with me, even though it was right beside my purse on the counter. I'll have to try that again later this week.

Before I heat up my soup and get into my jammies I have to tell you about my afternoon. I think I told you all that we had high wind warnings on the east coast today. Well, it WAS windy here! I was hoping one of my co-workers had gotten then chance to email me the pictures she took downtown this afternoon. You all will just have to listen to my description. Sorry...
We were judging the 2:00 recital and we heard some odd noises and saw things blowing by our window. Then we saw police cruisers and fire trucks and flashing lights and running men in uniform. The next thing we know they are opening the door to our studio to tell everyone to stay indoors but to think about moving our cars because the roof is coming off one of the downtown buildings!
I work in an historic downtown area and most of the buildings are from the 1700s and the 1800s. This particular building has a very steeply pitched roof covered in the old metal roofing. The wind had somehow gotten underneath the metal sheething and had pulled it completely away from the bricks which is what we saw blowing by our windows! It was rippling in the wind and they had blocked off our entire street. A roofing contractor and his assistant got there about 30 minutes later and were up on the roof nailing 2x6 planks all over the roof to get it to stay down. It was an amazing sight and they are a lot braver than I would have been! I will post pictures when I get them.

Weekends go so fast. Today after church I stopped and got Nicholas' hair cut. For the life of me I can't find someone that doesn't chop his hair or cut his bangs straight. I always end up redoing it. Then we came home and had lunch. Bob and Bethany came over, I took Nicholas to a friends house then went grocery shopping. We had pizza and salad for dinner. Nicholas worked some more on his science project. The bacterias are now culturing so in a day or two we should see things growing. It's not due until March 11 so if this doesn't work we should have plenty of time to redo it or come up with something else! Now we are off to read for a bit. Check ya later.

:scared1: I'm glad I wasn't downtown today! Well, except for driving through to/from church this morning. I saw your car, btw.
The building in question is the Café New Orleans, Tammi. Here is a very small picture of the building. You can just see the bottom of the roof here.

Oh my! I'm glad you all are ok. I'm sure it was a sight!

Hello, all! You have been a chatty bunch!
I haven't had time to really catch up. I love the ultrasound photos and the microscopic photos, Jennifer! I can't wait to hear the sexes.
I think I can win for the least pairs of shorts. I own none. I don't wear shorts ever.

I'm sorry you aren't enjoying being pregnant. I think I was one of the lucky few who never had a pg problem and loved every minute of it. When I hear some of the horror stories about morning sickness and such, I realize how lucky I was.
Thanks... I have had a fairly rough go so far, physically. I consider myself pretty tough, but when it's one thing after another (and I hear about people like you, and one of my good friends who never had a minute of trouble ;)) it just gets exhausting! To top it off, I've always had a lot of emotional struggles through the winter, and I think I staved them off being so busy but now that things are settling down they are kicking in (and of course it doesn't help all of the physical changes, hormones, etc added this year!). I'm hoping that if Spring ever shows up I'll be doing a bit better. I am thankful, though, that I've got the most wonderful husband I could have ever asked for. He is super supportive when I feel worthless, so at least I have someone to bounce a lot off of. :lovestruc I am a pretty lucky girl!

I went grocery shopping today and spent about $300. With Katrina living at home again most of the week, I can't believe how much our food bill has went up. She eats constantly. It doesn't matter how much she eats, 1/2 hour later she is hungry again. Yet, she is a size 2 (or 4).
I wish I could still do that! That metabolism will unfortunately catch up with her, sooner or later, I'm sure.
Look at it this way - she could be a guy! Then, you'd probably see your bill triple or quadruple!
Thanks everyone, for the comments! Kyle and I were pretty thrilled to see the babies again. I needed it, too, because I just don't enjoy being pregnant at all. At least I have a refresher of the outcome! ;) After realizing it doesn't always come easy, I'm not trying to complain about how blessed we are..... I'm just really wishing the stork would bring these babies instead, and sing Happy Birthday to them as he drops them off, and all would be great :rotfl:

I feel you, Elin. I'm having a similar experience myself, today. Don't know if it's the weather that is all over the map (and thus maybe allergies?) or if I have your garden variety cold coming on. Either way, not a fun way to end the weekend, or start off the week! Here's some :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for all of us not feeling quite up to snuff these days!

I was down to 145 after more than a year of eating healthier. Unfortunately, I'm back up to 165 right now which is the reason that I'm working on eating healthy and exercising again. I got the eating healthy last time but didn't get into the exercise habit. I'm hoping the exercise habit will make the difference this time. I'd really like to be around 135-140. Elin, glad to hear you are OK. The wind is crazy isn't it??:confused3 :confused3 and it is cold to boot.
A few weeks ago it was windy. My office is located near a Playtime Boutique adult store. The office was there many years before lots of stuff was built around it. On this windy day, siding was flying off of the Playtime boutique building. In our office we were trying to figure out how to contact them to let them know it was flying off. We looked it up in the phone book and could not find a phone number. Then they were talking about looking it up online. But were afraid what would happen if they were discovered someone was looking it up online. You never know what else might pop up. Our tech dept., is based out of another office. Eventually we convinced the mail man to tell them as he had stuff to drop off at their location.:3dglasses

We have Wonder in the boonies, so if you ever need it again, let me know.

You guys do look great, Deb! :thumbsup2
Lindsay -- I'm so sorry you are feeling under the weather. This weather has certainly been crazy. Flu and viral things are so rampant around here that when anyone says they are sick, we all take a step back. Jake told me the other night -- "I hope I don't get what you have Mommy -- you've been very sick." He was very happy when I told him that bladder infections are not contagious. :rotfl:
Jennifer -- you're pictures are amazing -- especially the first ones.
I had the most fun lunch yesterday with Lindsay and Elizabeth. Thanks ladies! We really do need to do them more often.
E-- I'm blown away that you are actually thinking you'll pack 32 shorts and 32 tops, plus everything else you need. I really need to see a picture of your luggage when you're ready to go. :rotfl: There is no way I'd consider that -- I'd send them out to be cleaned if you're that set on not doing laundry, which would probably be cheaper than the excess luggage charge. I don't mind doing it while there -- it forces me slow down for a while. I always plan on taking it easy, but it never seems to happen. One of my favorite days from the last trip, was when we took time to do laundry, I got to read in the lounge for a while, and the boys and Randy had fun taking pictures and playing at the hotel.
I really am having a hard time with this infection, so I made the decision to stay home last night and miss the Pat Green concert. Instead, I watched TV. The boys spent the night at my brother and SIL's house, so it was quieter around here this morning, and we could take our time getting ready for Church.
I barely made it through Sunday School before I was tired, but we stayed through Church, then I crashed for the afternoon. We met Dad in Rockwall (40 min. away) for dinner at my favorite burger/cheese fry place. I split one with my SIL, but I'll still regret it in the morning when I get on that scale.
I hope everyone gets off to a great week! :)

Did you guys hear that one of the Biergarten CM's died of a heart attack on stage on 1/31? He was only 48, he had been at Biergarten for 24 years and to make the tragedy even worse for his poor family his dad died 3 hours later that same day.:sad1:
I knew that the CM had died on stage, but not that his father had also died. How very sad. :sad2:

I was going to ask you how the Science Fair project was coming along. DS needs a haircut. He is looking very shaggy. Unfortunately he likes it that way.
The building in question is the Café New Orleans, Tammi. Here is a very small picture of the building. You can just see the bottom of the roof here.

Well, if you need to borrow some in August I can pack a few extras. :rolleyes1
You're talking about eating healthy and excerising, and I'm sitting here eating chocolate cake and ice cream. Oiy!
Mmmmmm. Cake! :)
That's ok. I had a warm delight with vanilla ice cream last night. However, I did have only one pepsi yesterday and one today. Last time, just the pepsi reduction gave me a 10 pound weight loss in less than 4 weeks.
Oh, Warm Delights are the BEST! Especially with ice cream.
I wasn't ever drinking much soda so cutting it out hasn't made a difference.
So I have some weird bite, boil, pimple thing on my left leg where it meets my tush it just appeared today. I also fell down the stairs and my right hip/leg is hurting where I crashed into the wall.    I guess this is what I get for trying to wash my winter coat and robe.
I dropped my car off at the garage for an oil change, tire rotation, and also because it is making a loud whining noise when I turn.
I am sitting here watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
I hope your tush heals and you aren't too sore tomorrow!:wizard:
I hate car repairs. I need to have the oil changed in mine.
I have decided I am really kind of annoyed with Extreme Makeover. Unless they provide professional cleaning service for those people there is NO WAY they will be able to keep those elaborate bedrooms clean! The rainforest canopy ceiling would be a NIGHTMARE. And did you see the little boy slam the car door on the bed? How long will it be before somebody's fingers get in that door? Just some really poor choices there.

Thanks for the heads up on the Wonder bread! Hopefully my current bosses don't know anyone with an allergy that severe!
Lindsay - I don't know where you are hiding your extra 30 pounds because you look terrific!
I don't know how much weight I would like to lose. I don't think I will ever be down to 120 again. When I got pregnant with DS I weighed 137, and I was so sick I dropped down to 129 the first trimester. The day I delivered him I weighed 167. When I came home from the hospital I weighed 160. I lost his PRECISE weight - 7 lbs. Apparently the amniotic fluid and the placenta were weightless. I dropped 20 more pounds in the first few weeks after I had him and I have been hovering around or just above 140 for the past 12 years. Last year around this same time when I REALLY tried to eat better and drink lots of water I think I got down to maybe 136 or so. Now I am back to 145.:headache:

I called my mother today. They had 9 inches of snow this week. So...
She decided she didn't want to wait for the apt. complex to clear the path. She trudged out to her car, cleaned it off, and drove across town to her storage unit to get her snow shovel. If I am not mistaken this is the shovel she has from when we lived where it snowed. Namely Massachusetts. In the 1970's. She got stuck inthe snow at the storage place but they helped her get unstuck. Then they had to help her shut the door to her unit because it wasn't closing properly. She went home and cleared the path with her shovel, then the plow came by and buried her nice clear path. So she went outside and shouted at them that she expected to have a clear path. They did clean it off somewhat, but not to her satisfaction.:sad2: Oh, my.
Her birthday is Tuesday. I asked her if she is going to do anything, and I told her I have her card but it will be late because I ran out of stamps. She said birthdays are only fun if someone takes you to dinner and buys you nice presents, so for her it is just another day. How does one respond to that?:confused3

I can't keep 1100 sq. ft. clean, and I don't have plants all over my ceiling or car doors on any of my beds. Is the one-legged guy supposed to get on a ladder and vacuum all those leaves? DS has a loft bed that I can hardly change the sheets because the bed is against the wall and it doesn't move, so how hard is it to change the sheets on bunk beds made of metal car parts? Who are they supposed to call when that stuff breaks? Or when the aquarium built into the wall starts to leak? Or when the bowling alley malfunctions? (Those are all things I have seen, some tonight, some on other episodes.) The upkeep on houses like the ones they build has to be astronomical.

We have begun to split up these threads and have already returned several to the boards for your reading pleasure. Since most of these threads have not had any posts in a few weeks, most will not be on the first page on any of their original Boards. Below is a list of the threads and their location. Further information is found within the linked thread. Links have only been provided to the original thread and the part of the original thread still current, so some of the posts may be more difficult to find, but they have all been returned to their proper chronological location on the board. I think Adam Duritz of Counting Crows is an amazing guy but he isn't on my list. I would just like to chat with him.

I hated every second of pregnancy. My OB was actually afraid that I would have postpartum depression. I asked her what the total opposite would be...jubilation for NOT being pregnant :rotfl: I was fine from the second of delivery.
well i have news! My cousin and I were looking at islands to go to this summer, but airfare is ridiculous...soooo it looks like ill be in disney/universal/sea world this summer!
Staying with us?
I was kind of disappointed at first, at not going to an island..but...if we go to florida, we will have more money to do fun things there-so im pretty excited!
My first choice is June 14-21...i have to check at work tomorrow what day my kiddies' graduation is..I have narrowed it down to 4 places--we are using a timeshare from my grandma--but i know nothing about these places so were still doing resarch
apparently not... But we will be there June 28 - July 18th. Rethink your dates so we can meet up.

Call a restaurant in her area and have them deliver dinner to her. The dinner is your gift and she eats...voila the perfect birthday;)

Now I am stuck. I have a tie for #5. Maybe I should base it exclusively on visual appeal as opposed to who is dark and twisty.
In that case #4 would be Kyle Chandler and #5 is Nathan Fillion (the OB/GYN married to Kathrine on Desperate housewives). I actually thought he was someone else, but I looked it up and that's his name.
So my completed list is:
1. Rob Lowe

Actually, that's why I put 8-10 cells, because I figured someone would! ;) in order to be considered the best quality for that stage, they are supposed to be 8 cells. But because of course doubling doesn't happen to the second in real life, some get a little farther ahead or behind. I think ours ended up with 8 (and maybe a 9th hiding), and 9 (with a 10th likely hiding). Who knows! They were good enough for me! :thumbsup2

We had perfect rooms in October, Denise. They were standard view on the first floor. We had patios that opened onto the walkway between BC and Epcot and I didn't think the walk to the main part of the resort was that bad. Stormalong Bay was pretty far unless you walked outside, like we did.

I hadn't - how very sad! :sad1:
How are you feeling?
That was probably a wise decision, Marci - I was worried we were going to wear you out at lunch! I hope you're on the mend today!
Well, thank you. :goodvibes But trust me, it's there! :rotfl:
You look great, too - Marci, as well! We probably all just need to do the "healthier living" thing so we continue to look good in the years to come! It's just so hard when everything I love to eat is not good for me!

Anyone stayed in a Standard Room at the Beach Club? Trying where to figure out to request with Rees (Not a long walk and quiet). Thanks!
I have, Denise. I loved our room location, and thought it was very quiet. The only problem you might run into with the BC is that the resort is pretty "thin" width wise, and so a lot of the rooms are going to be further from the main lobby than some other deluxe resorts.
That said, we were about half-way down the resort's west-side, overlooking a courtyard (we could see Crescent Lake to our left), and we had a full balcony on the 2nd floor. I can't remember the room # off the top of my head, but I'll see if I can find it. It was a king-bed room, so that exact room obviously wouldn't work for you guys, but I think all the rooms around us on the 2nd floor had the balconies.
Here were the views, to give you an idea of resort orientation:

It is strawberry at least, with maybe a little banana mixed in. Last night, we mixed it in with her Ovaltine and that seems to do the trick. She doesn't mind it at all and it took less time to drink a whole cup of Ovaltine than it did to take the 2tsp of straight medicine. I think we've found a winner.

Robyn - Emma and her hair dilemnas are making me smile. :goodvibes I guess we're never happy with what we've been given. I used to pine for curly hair when I was younger, but have come to terms with my straight hair at this point in my life. Tell her to wash those curls back into her hair!
We were talking about that yesterday here as well. Rachel got a straightener for her birthday. She's the only one of us with curly hair (and it's only slightly so) and she wants to straighten it. The other 3 of us had straight hair and wanted it curly at some point or another. :confused3

Kilimanjaro Safari Jeep Fire - Sunday 2/10/08
On Sunday afternoon, February 10th, the engine in one of the Kilimanjaro Safari Vehicles caught fire. According to the Orlando Sentinel, "Four guests requested a medical evaluation at the scene, and one of them, a woman who was injured as guests exited the ride vehicle, was taken to Celebration Health."
The ride is scheduled to reopen Monday, February 11th.
Oh my! I'm glad nobody was really hurt!

What timeshare group is it? We've stayed in a few in that area so maybe I can help.

Here is my worksheet for dining in September/October. What do you think??

If Tutto Italia is closed during our trip we would probably put Coral Reef in its place. At least, that is the plan right now!
We will eat breakfast fairly early and will eat dinners as late as we can make a reservation. As you all know, we are used to eating dinner at 9:00-9:30 anyway because of my teaching schedule.
ETA: For some reason all my snack credits are not showing up on the worksheet here on my screen. But they are on the photobucket picture so I assume you all will see them and when my cookies are gone, so will I!
Sounds like a very delicious plan!!

Wow! :scared1: Are you feeling better today?
We might get a little rain today -- we SOOOOO need it. The wind has been so bad lately that we've had multiple grass fires in my county.
Have a good day, DDA! :)
I definitely have a cold, but I will be fine. Thanks, Marci. How are YOU feeling today?
We need rain too; there are a few wildfires that were whipped to a frenzy in Virginia yesterday along with the roof I mentioned. There was another restaurant in town that lost its roof too! :scared:
