This may sound like a dumb question but what do you do with you money, key, etc. while you and your DH go parasailing, banana boat riding etc? I don't think it is a good idea to leave them on the beach. Has anyone used a waterproof waist pack and do they work? Can you wear them while doing these activities? I wouldn't mind leaving shorts and shirts laying on the beach with your towel but not your room key and money. We would like to do these activities together.
Thanks for any help and ideas!

I'll admit, I'm naive....there were 6 of us traveling together. And on CC, we felt quite "safe and secure". We had a couple large beach bags, and just put everything deep inside the bags and put them under our chairs. I never thought of them getting stolen on CC....on the islands, I was very cautious....I guess I'm pretty trusting (or too trusting/stupid) to have even thought about it on CC....but now that I think about it, we only had our room keys, no money or credit cards with us.
If you want to keep them with you, they have waterproof cases on lanyards you wear around your neck that are the right size for KTTW cards. They can be bought on the ship for like $5 or so.

I have purchased a small plastic case that hangs around your neck, and its waterproof. It looks like a plastic cigarette case. I bought it at Wal-Mart in the swimming area. I have used it during the summer and it works great. Have Fun!!

They also have two sizes of the waterproof case for sale on board the ship, with the DCL logo. I bought the small one (about the size of a pack of cigarettes but slimmer) for $5, I think. It easily holds key-to-the-world cards, driver's licenses, and cash. As pal2pluto said, I really didn't worry about Castaway Cay, but I was glad I had it for the other islands.

You can also purchase a waterproof "splash caddy" to wear around your waist like a fanny pack from MAGELLANS.COM:)
