Hi, We booked up a holiday and are staying at the Kyriadl MLV torcey hotel. Has anyone staid here and have any reviews?
Also, Im hoping someone whos stayed in the same area before can help me. How do I get to DLP other than the RER? My little girl is terrified of trains! The hotel ahve advises theres no buses from there to DLP! But surely that cant be right?

They may mean that there are no shuttle buses and therefore public transport may be the only option apart from RER.

Hi lilacgems23, :welcome: to the DIS!
This is the local bus timetable here (http://www.buspeps.fr/voyage_horaires_lignes.html), there's a link to it in The Very Useful Info sticky.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a bus service from Torcy to the parks. The only way to get to DLRP will be either the RER or else by car. The RER is very easy to catch and Torcy is only three stops away from DLRP.
I see you say your DD is terrified of trains ~ is there anyway you can try and get her over this fear before your holiday, such as maybe a day out with friends/family on a train, maybe a steam train outing?
If the train really won't be an option, then I would suggest you either consider hiring a car (not sure how you are getting to France) or you cancel your hotel (if possible) and book one either at DLRP itself or at Val d'Europe from where you can catch either the #34 or #50 bus.
Good luck whatever you decide. :wizard:

thanks for that
I dont drive so cant hire a car. Cant cancel as its already paid
Were going with a local coach company and when they said kyriad i thought they meant on site which is why I booked it. However, found out a few days ago now their list is online that is not the one on site.

we have been on coach before and stayed off site are you sure the coach firm doesn,t take you to the park as when we went with national they shuttled us to and from the park as part of the trip

hi, they do take us there but they said we only get 5-6 hours a day there. Its down to the driver what time he leaves but he normally takes everyone back to the hotel about 5.
From what people have told me 6 hours isnt going to be long enough? Also, I dont see the point paying all that money to be sat in the hotel half the time.
Furthermore, has anyone stayed at this hotel or know anyone who has? As it looks a bit grotty

What about taking the coach to the resort and then getting a taxi back to the hotel when you're ready ?
The taxi rank is just outside the park. I'm sure someone will be able to give you a rough idea of the cost. :)
