Questions about resort dining.

I have never been to a restaurant at a Universal resort before. I want to get a res. at Mama Della's at the Pornofino. How far in advance can I make that reservation and can I get a visitors parking pass like I do at a disney resort? We do not have US/IOA tickets. Can we walk from the Portofino to the Hard Rock or the Royal Pacific? How does all of this work? I want to check out some of these resorts in person for our next vacation.

I'm not sure about the reservation at Mama's (never been), but I am pretty sure you can park at the hotel to eat there.

You ARE able to walk from the PBH to the HRH and RPR. You will pass thru City Walk from the HRH to RPR tho....enjoy it :thumbsup2

Think of PBH behind HRH.... you walk the path from PBH to HRH. The path from HRH goes to either PBH or CityWalk. Walk to City Walk. Walk to the other side CityWalk and you'll be at the path to RPR....

Think of CW being a circle and PBH and HRH on one side, and RPR on the other... Then the 2 parks are across the circle at the bottom...will try to find you a map.....

I forgot...No, you don't need to pay to enter CityWalk...only the clubs after 9pm...if that's what you choose to do. It's like DTD, not PI.

Don't panic...the hotels aren't as far as they look. HRH is about 5 minutes from CW, RPR about 7 min and PBH about 10-15.

Thanks for all of the info! I think that we will try to park at PBH eat and then walk over to the HRH to look around. I can't wait! I love checking out all of the resorts. Thanks again.

Hi you can reserve date and time via HRH they will transfer you to the restaurant, its worth booking as the restaurants at PBH do fill up especially at weekends
