BCV Point Borrowing-Good News

I just got off of the phone with my guide and she said that there was a lot of confusion about borrowing pts. form your 2003 use year to make ressies. She said that we can absolutely borrow pts. We are in finalized staus with our BCV paperwork. We would be closed if there was a physical place to close on yet.

If you got wait-listed, or had to drop a day or two from your ressie because of this, you should get in contact with your guide.

I had no problems because I called a couple days earlier to borrow my measly 10 little points. LOL!

I'm in the same place, closing-wise. I paid "cash", so I'm basically twiddling my thumbs waiting for closing in June!

Well, apparently you can only borrow points before the BCV actual closing if you are making a DVC reservation. I called my guide yesterday, and she said I could not borrow points from 2003, to book my cruise.

I'm glad that "exceptions" are being made for some BCV owners, but it would be more fair if all BCV, soon to be owners, could get the same exception. I could understand not being allowed to trade out to II on borrowed points, but come on DVD (Disney), you are the "Disney Collection".
