We are going on the Wonder next week (3/14) and I wanted to get some ideas on what little things we can take for the CMs
My DS will be in the Oceaneers Club, and I want to be prepared for counselor gifts too....

I've read the boards, and know that the CMs appreciate phone cards, but wanted to know some other ideas as well..

Thanks for your ideas

When staying in a resort on a concierge level I always bring a box of Godiva chocolates and give it to the concierge staff on my final day. If I've had a really good housekeeper I'll leave her a small box of them as well.

Of course I leave a tip for the housekeeper along with the chocolates. :)

I'm not a big candy eater, but it's something I enjoy receiving as a gift, I usually have a piece or two and share the rest with family or co-workers.

I think it's nice to bring something from your home area. Most of the crew on the DCL ships are from other countries and I like to share a little bit of my home state with them.

For our cruise in November I purchased small, maple-leaf shaped bottles of maple syrup, made at a local sugar house. I also will bring phone cards (BTW, 45 minute phone cards are $4.00 at WalMart...60 minutes-$5.00) but thought the syrup would be a little something that's more personal.

Hope this helps.

We have combined the home/chocolate idea and have brought Frango mints in a Chicago-themed box, as well as Fannie May chocolates. We also bring four packs of rum coolers or hard lemonade (of course, the crew cannot drink during working hours, but it's a nice way to unwind later). Bath and Body Works products go over well with female crew members. We've also brought little Chicago souvenirs like a water globe or ornament, and of course we bring lots of thank-you cards. In addition, you may want to order some "What Would Walt Do" pins, and don't forget to recognize great service on your comment card.

Incognito always remembers the best gifts. The only suggestion I would add would be Pre-Paid Phone cards. They were a Big hit for me on my last cruise.

PS I also used the WWWD pins (2) to some very deserving Cast Members.
