We are! We are!!

This will be our first P&PP. I just asked DH this morning if he'd like to go if they add them in May and he was really enthusiastic about it! Yeah!!:cool1:

It's our first too! DH & I will be in town for a conference and we're sneaking over for the party! lol. It's the only time we could go to WDW, so I was SO hoping for it!
Do you have ADR's anywhere yet? We'll be at LTT at 5:30.:cool1:

awe! how fun! my DD is a Katie too! lol. She's always asking when we're going to do a mom/daughter trip! We saw somebody in the park one time and she just loved the idea!

Your Katie is a cutie! Since mine is an only child, it is really easy to do a "girls only" trip (DH is not a big Disney lover, so he doesn't mind us going without him every once in a while). We did our first one in January of '07 and loved it! We get to do all the things that DH doesn't like- get autographs and pics of the characters, watch the WS street performers, see the parades, etc.

We have just 1 day left on our 10 day MYW tickets, so I figured a short trip would be great. We will treat the party as our MK day, then do Epcot and maybe a few hours of AK on our 1 park day. I am also planning on Typhoon Lagoon on our departure day. It is going to be a very "commando" trip!!

Hope to see you at the party- are y'all going to dress up? I am going to bring DD's Elizabeth Swann costume that she wore at MNSSHP last fall, and I will probably wear a Pirates T and maybe a bandana to look "pirate-y".

I am going to wear an I love Pirates T and a tiara! lol. I'm still working on DH! lol. (kids aren't going)

I'm going to wait to see how warm it is in May to decide if my son will dress up. For the Halloween party he was a pirate. He wore a gauze pirate shirt jean shorts the pirate hat he bought for the last P&PP and 2 swords we bought at disney around his waist. He looked so cool. Just not sure if it will be too hot for the shirt. If it is I guess he will wear his Jack Sparrow t-shirt with all the other stuff!

Now to find a lime green pirate shirt! :rotfl2:

We don't have any ADRs for dinner that day since we're doing Play and Dine for lunch...guess we'll just do CS at MK or at our resort.

First post! :) I just booked our trip this week (May 7-13) and I'm so excited that we will get to go to the PPP too!!! It's just me and my 4yo son pirate: going on the trip. I might be slightly insane but we are SO excited! (I don't know how some of you can keep it a secret from the kids, lol.) Now what is this Mother's Day brunch? I'd love to do that too!

Welcome to the Dis. The Mother's day brunch is held on Mother's day only at the World Showcase pavilion. The decorations are beautiful and the food is to die for! It is a bit pricey. $50 for adults and $20 for kids. But its a wonderful experience. If you decide to do it GO HUNGRY!!! :) Make sure you make reservations for it. I'm pretty sure it books up.

As for being insane doing your duo trip...you won't be. Just take things slow and go with the flow. My son and I went on our first duo trip when he was 3. We have done several trips since then. It gives us a good mom/son bonding time and gives hubby/dad a little alone time!

Oh if you are looking for some "me" time when you are there you might consider looking into one of the kids clubs. I'm pretty sure they start taking kids at 4 years old. On our duo trips I will leave my son in the Sandcastle club (at the beach club) and go to epcot for an hour or so. I love going through the stores in the World Show case. It cost $11 an hour and they feed them. They have play areas, craft area, video games, movies and more. They open at 4:30pm. They give you a pager so if they need to get in touch with you they can. There are a few other clubs too. The Neverland Club at the Poly is the most popular. It's Peter Pan themed. But its normally one of the more crowded ones. So you most likely would need reservations for that one. One thing I like about the Sand Castle club is I can drop him off and be back with very little travel time. As far as being concerned about leaving your child...I'm very protective of my son (some might even call me overprotective :) ) I have never had any issues with leaving him in one of the Disney Kid Clubs.

We are going the same time as you. Well close. May 7th to 12th. Maybe we will run into each other at the P&PP :)

Take care
Jamie

We'll be there May 9th! There will be myself, hubby, our twin boys who turn 6tomorrow, our baby girl who is 2 (ok, so I have to adjust that she isn't a baby anymore), and our babysitter/close family friend who will be 18. Our trip dates are May 8-17. We get in late the 8th from the west coast so we were using the 9th to rest and enjoy our resort pool. The fact that there is a party on the 9th is just the whipped cream and cherry for us! We get a head start on our week after a well rested day! We went to the party last year in Feb. We LOVED it! I am SO excited!!! I am trying to decide on costumes. One boy wants to go all out, the other one wants only to wear a pirate t-shirt. The girlie, OF COURSE, wants to wear a princess costume. princess: Are any of you adults going to wear costumes? I like the pirate shirt/tiarra idea!

We won't be doing the brunch, though it sounds like a great time. This is a real budget/cheapie trip, so we are not planning on eating any TS (I actually feel weird not making any ADRs! ). We will be sharing a raft on Crush 'n Gusher on Mother's Day instead- then driving back to Charlotte in the afternoon. A real different Mother's Day for me, lol!!

We're keeping the PPP as a surprise for DD. ;) I'll be packing her pirate outfit and a couple of princess dresses for our cruise anyway, so she won't be suspicious if she sees them being packed. princess:

I want to dress up, but DH can't decide yet. However, I'll be bringing pirate costumes for both of us and if DH decides against dressing up, I'll just wear a pirate tee and DD's pirate princess tiara. pirate:

Loving seeing the pictures of the pirates and princesses!

For anyone who's been before, can you tell us your tips?

We went to the Mickey's Christmas Party years ago and what we learned quickly from that was -- skip the rides, you can do them anytime and don't both waiting in line for your free photo (not sure if they do that anymore or not) but enjoy the special parades and shows that you normally cannot do.

I guess I need to do some research on what shows and "extra" stuff they have.:goodvibes

Thank you so much! I called today and got the P&PP tix and a brunch reservation. And now I can't use the great deal I found on our airfare as an excuse to spend more on anything else, hehe. Thanks for the tip on the kids clubs as well... "mommy alone time" is priceless!

For anyone who's been before, can you tell us your tips?

Get to the park as early as you can. I think they start letting you in to the MK at 4pm on party tickets. But Main Street and some of the lands get quite crowded with people leaving the MK and people coming in for the party. Now I can say that the P&PP in August last year was no near where as crowded as the Halloween parties I have attended but there was still a bit of congestion going up Main Street and trying to move to the back of the park.

Make your ADR's for any Table Service at a monorail resort, the Wilderness Lodge or any TS in the park NOW!!! On party nigths these tend to book up fast. My son and I are doing the Tea at the Grand Floridian at 3:40pm and then heading to the park. Then eating some counter service either on the go or while we are waiting/watching the parade or fireworks. Or in Cosmic Ray's while he dances at the dance party. Its funny. He will go up dance quite a bit come back take a bite and so on!

Get your rest before the party so you can stay till the bitter end!!! It's a lot of fun at 11:30 running from ride to ride in with little or no wait time. The P&PP in August at the end of the night they let us stay in the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor since it wasn't crowded. I think we did it 4 times in a row. Son LOVES it!

The treat stops are fun but pretty much all the same candy mixture. One stop might be only beads, another stop only candy and some both. Unless you desirer lots of candy I'd do a few stops and do other stuff.

If they have it again this year, make time for the pirate games area. This is a nice stop for the boys who won't near anything princessey!!!!! (like my son :) ) My son loved the games. There were a few games and they gave you candy each time you did it. Games were like ring a hook, shoot a pirate ship (air zooka guns), bean bag toss in the treasure chest and the dunking booth. The dunking booth was a lot of fun. The young man (yes I'm old now I actually call 18 20 ish boys young men LOL) who was the pirate in the booth (ball house balls not water) was very animated and fun. He taunted the people throwing in nice way.

The picture is no longer free. (one of my major gripes) Now they have a few stations where you can get a picture taken and you will get 50% off the regular cost. I'm not sure if this is for any picture taken in the park or only the special stations set up for the party.

Ok thats about all I can think of now. I hope it helps. If I think of any more tips I'll add them

Take Care
Jamie

I've heard that they aren't giving out candy this year, just the "booty!" (Jewels and necklaces) So, you may not want to get your kids all excited about candy, in case there isn't any.

I am having trouble deciding on which costume to get for my 2 year old princess as well. She is a little hot box so I don't know that i will get the heavy ones. I know this isn't the typical "disney princess" dress but it's cute and good for hot weather! So I may get this...

Last year for our Sept trip, I found a really cute short sleeve princess dress at Toys R Us for $16 (before coupon). It was in the dress up section and wasn't Disney but DD loved it and it was much cheaper than the Disney ones!

If I don't get the "Captain Dad/Captain Mom and Captain's Kid" t-shirts, then she'll wear the princess dress again.

Here is a picture of them in their dresses and these are the designs for the t-shirts. rumbleytumbley (on the dis) made the designs for me :lovestruc

Of course, they may want to keep their dresses on if they see other little girls dressed up princess:

I really like the Captain Mom lime green shirt:thumbsup2

Jen this trip is a Mom and Son Mother's day trip too! We are doing the P&PP on the 9th. We are doing the Mother's day brunch too. It's a little expensive but absolutely wonderful! Are you doing the brunch? :)

Take Care
Jamie

We are also going to P&PP on the 9th. What brunch, is there a website or somewhere to find info? Has anyone been for mother's day? Does Disney do anything special?

Since I do scrapbooks, I'm thinking this one would be funny! And it's even lime green!

Got DD's costume last week- she will be a pirate girl. I'm still trying to decide what to wear. I'll probably just do the same generic pirate look I did for the MNSSHP last fall- navy capris, red T, bandana on my head, big gold hoops, and a big skull and crossbones temporary tattoo.

I thought I'd ask here. Does anyone think I'm totally crazy if I go dressed as Tinkerbell? I purchased an Elizabeth Swann gown and the color is all wrong on me not to mention it's long and hot. I'm tiny and blonde. My toddler also wants to match me. What do you think? Should I stick with the ES gown and match my sons and husband (pirates) or my daughter?

Can't wait for our trip! We hit the 30 day mark today!!! Of course, I'm still working on my DD's 30 day countdown calendar :rotfl2: Hopefully will finish tomorrow!

Definitely wear Tinkerbell and have fun!! What's it gonna hurt if someone laughs at you or laughs with you? Either way, you helped spread some joy! And if your daughter will love it, then all the more reason (I hear as they get older, they try to disown their parents....:rotfl: )

For dinner that night, we'll just be going to either a resort CS or eat at CS in the MK. My DD2 still naps so we probably won't get there until after 6pm and I really want her to nap that day so we can last longer in the park.

I'll have LGMH on my Baggalini and stroller and my custom LGMH with googly eyes (courtesy of Home Depot) to share with anyone who asks for one!

Last trip I only met one Disser and we exchanged LGMH...hoping to get a bunch more this trip!

To keep it simple, you could just wear pirate and/or princess t-shirts...maybe wear a pirate hat or a tiara, too?

The Official color of DIS is lime green. If you go to Home Depot's paint department, you can find the Mickey Mouse paint sample in Alien Green. Folks on here stage a "Mission Impossible challenge" (just kidding!) and try to grab a bunch of these samples to decorate with your DIS name, etc. Here is a picture of mine (sorry it is blurry...) I added a pom pom nose and googly eyes...

http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s250/memch/Disney%20Activity%20Book/JPEG019.jpg

Then if you see others in WDW, you can trade LGMH (Lime Green Mickey Heads). I also create larger versions and hang on my bag and stroller.

We'll be there!
Myself, DH & DD (almost 5), plus my brother (first trip back since he was 7), my friend and her 4-yr-old son.

DD has requested to be a "pirate princess"... I bought her (though she hasn't seen it) the Rosetta Fairy dress (on Disney Shopping's website and in stores) and a small tiara, glitter hairspray, etc... just not sure if i'll stick with the generic "princess" thing or try to make it piratey for her??? I'm crafty, but I don't sew, and I'm not sure what a pirate-princess looks like in her mind!

I have a LGMH on my backpack too, say hello if you see us!!!

Has anyone been to the PPP before? Can you help me with a plan? This will be our only time in MK this trip. We go every year so I'm not sad about it. Anyway, we will arrive at 4 pm. Should we go directly to the Pirates of the Caribbean area, eat, and wait in line to see Captain Jack or will it be quiet enough to get the Pooh ride (Fantasyland) done first and then head over to eat?

I have a two year old who probably will fall asleep in her carriage around 8 pm so I don't want her to miss the Pooh ride. My boys are 7 and 9 and should be fine until we leave!

By the way, my Tinkerbell costume arrived today! My two year old changed her mind again and is Snow White. This is it. I'm not letting her change her mind again!

We're eating at Cosmic Ray's but not until late. We'll be two moms with their daughters (age 4) for an all girls trip! I'll have my LGMH's with one hanging from my bag.

We're going to try to sit on the hub for the parade. We're going to get a spot around 8pm. I hope that's early enough.

We went to P&PP in January and had a great time although it was crowded with many Brazilian tour groups. We're hoping it's not too crowded this time. In Jan it was far more crowded than the MNSSHP in Sept but we're going to give it a shot-hoping early May is a dead time for P&PP.

Maybe I'll run into one of you-we like to spend our time hitting the rides since they're all walk ons at these parties but we're also planning on watching the parade, hit the TT Hall of Fame (they have the special Photopass add ons and frames), and Belle's Storytime (sometimes you have to take one for the team:rotfl2: ).

Hope to see some of you there!

Where are you going to sit for the parade?

We have an ADR for the Plaza at 5:20, but we aren't sure if we will keep it- we might just do a quick CS meal instead.

We are going to watch the parade from Frontierland, near the turn to the Liberty Sq. bridge (near the exit of the Liberty Belle riverboat). We watched the MNSSHP parade from there on a sold out night, and we had no problem seeing (nobody even stood behind us- I guess it isn't a "popular" spot).

We want to watch the fireworks from the middle of Main Street, down near the hub.

Hope to see some other DISers- we will have out LGMHs attached to our backpacks and lanyards!!

Marshay
04-21-2008, 10:50 AM
We'll do Cosmic Rays, too...probably around 5:30-6:30pm.

We'll probably watch the parade in Frontierland only bc we hate to wait an hour for a spot. If for some reason it isn't crowded, then we'll go for Main Street.

The last "hard ticket" event we went to was very crowded (MVMCP). I was really surprised b/c others talked about these events as "walk-ons".

Hoping this one is not-full!

We are eating at DTD before the party. The kids have a BBB appointment at the DTD location (MK was booked solid) then we'll head straight to the party as close to 4 pm as possible. So we'll likely hit a CS at some point in the evening.

I have no idea where we'll sit during the parade. We'll likely catch it from Frontierland in hopes of avoiding some of the crowd.

I have reservations for Tony's at 5:30 but I think I might cancel them for 2 reasons. #1 there are so many negative reviews and #2 I want to get there right at 4pm so we would have to back track to go to dinner. So if we cancel, we will probably just grab something whenever we get hungry.

Yeah, it's funny I see lots of the same folks on different threads but only recognize them when they post a picture!

I just ordered our shirts from CafePress. It was expensive $20+ each but since I was cropping our countdown calendar and my Disney ABC book and this weekend dying our Mickey head T-shirts, I just didn't have time to do the Pirate shirts. I know, excuses! :rotfl:

I like that shirt! She is a pretty pirate!

We're only going to the P&PP and not even with the kids, so :rolleyes1
I didn't clean her up too much because I'm going to distress it, but I haven't gotten to it yet...

Add us to the list. It's so CLOSE!!! Woo-hoo! We're actually sailing on the DCL that following Sunday, and I know at least 4 families in our cruise meet thread are going to this P&PP. Very exciting.

BTW: Sconnell, I am MAD for your hair color! I've always danced around trying red hair, and if I ever got up the nerve, your color is what I would hope the most for :thumbsup2

Ok, so not me, but my mom. She used to be a redhead, but she's 63.

Is there some sort of treasure hunt?

Thanks

There are treasure spots with giant balloons with x's where they give you coins, jewels or necklaces. There are carnival type games where the reward is one of the above also. Then there are "dance parties" with music and characters dancing with the kids.

Bad timing, huh? But hey...at least it's happening at home and not popping up WHILE you are there! I hope they get better soon!

This is exactly why we have been in quarantine before our trip! DS(4.5) had t-ball Saturday morning and since then, we've stayed home! We've had lots of super fun activities to do here at home...lots of playing out in the yard, lots of Disney related stuff to build up the excitement... I have two kids with reactive airway issues...the slightest cold sends both of them into respiratory trouble... not something I want to deal with on vacation, you know?

Oh, and Twimsmomma-- It looks like we're dining at Tony's, too, before the party on Friday!!! :-) We'll have LGMHs on our various bags and stuff! Perhaps we'll run into one another!

Well, being that they have had the fever, headache, and sore throat it's hard to tell. There are a number of things going around including fifth's and hand, foot, and mouth. Both of those start out with the same symptoms they have and then the rash develops so we will see within the next couple days. All of them seem to have had their fever break but are drained. Well in the last few hours, 2 of the 3 have had the lacy rash come out that is the signature of the the fifth's disease. Our dr said it isn't anything serious and the only thing to do is drink fluids and get rest. Unlike most other childhood illnessess, once the rash appears the child is normally no longer contageous. So by Friday, we should be good! *fingers crossed*

We returned yesterday after 16 days although my luggage hasn't found it's way home yet!

What did everyone think of the PPP? We had a great time although it was so much busier than I expected. The ride lines were great but the character meet and greets took us forever. Captain Jack made our night. He spent so much time with us that I actually kept trying to move us on as there were so many people waiting behind us.

The parade was beautiful and the fireworks were the best I've ever seen! We would definitely do it again. Now, I have to upload 900 pictures so I can share some with you!

lol. I thought the crowd hung around longer than I had hoped. :( But, it was managable. We didn't do any character meets as we ate at LTT. We had the 5:30 ADR, but when we got there at 5, they went ahead and seated us. :thumbsup2
The longest we waited was 10 min for Space at 6:30.

We were first in line to see Jack so if you saw us, I hope you waved. He tried to steal DD's ruby ring. lol He was wonderful :goodvibes

The meet and greet lines were really really long! I wasn't all that enthralled with the parade. The pirate part was neat, but the princess part wasn't all that thrilling IMHO. I'd skip the parade if we go again but then I'm not that much of a parade person. The fireworks, on the other hand, were AMAZING! We'd definitely see those again.

The ride waits were awesome! The treasure was fun for the kids. Overall, we had a great time.

Here's my Princess Minnie and Pirate Princess from the party.

We got home last night- the trip was fun, and the P&PP was great!

We got into the MK right at 4pm- did a lot of Fantasyland and Frontierland/Liberty Square attractions with no wait before the party started. Ate dinner at Pinocchio Haus- DD loves the pepperoni pizza there.

We didn't do any character meet & greets, so didn't notice how long lines were. DD really had fun tracking down all the loot at the treasure spots. We also really enjoyed the Pirate play area in Tomorrowland.

Lines for rides were pretty short all night- we got to ride BTMRR right around 7pm 3 times in a row without getting off the train!! Longest line all night was for Space Mtn at about 11pm- I think we waited around 15 mins. We also had a wait for the Astro Orbiter (around 15 mins). Everything else was a walkon or 5 min wait at most.

The parade was great- the Princess part wasn't the most exciting (we're not big into the Princesses, though), but the Pirates were cool! Loved seeing Tink- she has lots of personality!! Also loved the Agraba palace guards with their sabers. Drizella Tremaine (one of the ugly stepsisters) came up to DD and I and told us we were weird!!:rotfl2: The fireworks were wonderful!!

We stayed to the end of the party- headed out the front gate around 12:30am. I was surprised at how late the crowds stayed around. Really didn't notice a big clearing-out until around 11:30pm.

Didn't see any other DISers out and about (I had my LGMHs on my backpack, and was looking for others), but I did have a Dole Whip for Bawb, and took DD's pic with it in front of "Bwana Bob's". As soon as I get them uploaded, will try to post a pic on the DIS Unplugged thread.

Hope everyone else had a great time!! :thumbsup2

Hello! We got back late saturday night. DD and I both loved the party! DD had a ressie for BBB at 6. They were booked solid and running behind so she actually did not get her hair done until around 6:40. While we were waiting there she was a little sad to be dressed up as Elizabeth Swan while looking at all those princess dresses. However once CMs got exctied over seeing her outfit she was happy to be a pirate (although she did get upset over all the Mulan references. I told her that only a true pirate fan would realize who she was dressed as!)

I did think that there were not as many adults dressed up like there were at the one we went to last August. I got a lot of werid looks walking around dressed up.

Since we had done the party before we skipped the parade (I agree with the pp about the princess part) and skipped the Jack meet and greet (luckily we can see him almost any day in DL).

We did wait in the line to see Pirate Mickey, Pluto, Donald and Goofy. The line was long when we got in it. About five minutes after we got in a CM came by to say that the characters were going on break but wouldbe back in a couple of minutes. I guess most people stopped listening because half of the line left. Even with that our wait was about 25 minutes.

Our ride times were minimal. DD had a great time going around collecting the treasure.

DD did want to see the Capt. Jack tutorial. We waited for the last one of the night (11:25). DD was thrilled when he picked her from the crowd of kids to be a part of the show! She couldn't stop smiling.

On our way out we rode the Magic Carpet ride. My dd was thrilled when she saw the Genie and Abu get on too!

We had a very magical night. The fireworks were awesome!!

Yeah!! I'm sooooo glad you stopped by to say hello!!! I can't believe we had so many folks at the P&PP but I missed everyone. Thanks so much for stopping us -- my DH's light up LGMH was a great way to identify him. I relied on that many times at night!

we loved the P&PP too. I liked the parade -- TINK alone was great to see. She nailed Tink's personality. Fireworks were awesome!

I was disappointed in the lines for the characters...they were really long and I foolishly thought that after 11pm they would get shorter -- nope! The princess line was 75 minutes and the other one was 60 minutes. We just did the rides, which all were really short waits -- the longest was AstroOrbiters at 15 minutes.

DD really loved that we could do Goofy's Barnstormer and Mickey/Minnie's house multiple times. And she was all over the treasure spots!!:thumbsup2

Next time I know to do the characters first and just buy food to eat in line while waiting...it's just hard to keep a 33 m.o. entertained in line...:goodvibes

Did your 33 month old make it to midnight? Our 34 month old made it through the fireworks (which was amazing since her bedtime is normally 7) but crashed in her stroller after that. We tried to wake her to get a picture that we waited an hour in line for but she wouldn't open her eyes. She looked so cute asleep next to the characters. I was shocked at how many 2-3 year olds were still running around at midnight.

We hyped the princess aspect to our daughter before the party but in all honesty she saw/spent more time with the princesses at Epcot the day before and at the Cinderella Gala with no waiting. She woke up in the morning and asked if she was still going to the princess party. We explained that the princess party was seeing all the princesses in the beautiful parade and that was good enough for a two year old. We'll skip all meet and greets next time and only do the rides!

We didn't do any characters, and only one treasure spot. DS didn't even want to go see Captain Jack. We saw the parade and the fireworks which were really cool but spent the majority of the evening riding Buzz... over and over and over. Eventually we just stayed on in between :) We did everything in Tomorrowland that DS wanted to, and HM when we first got there. We didn't get on the bus till 1 am!! It was fun but we were worthless the next day.

oooohhhhh we saw you!! We were not far behind you in the line for Jack. We were the first of the second lot they let in. Hi *waves*. Jack was amazing...played with us for ages...stole my autograph book etc.

http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/seobaina/TripRep2008/dispic27.jpg

We loved every second of the party and thought it was the best bit of the trip. We'd go again in a heartbeat and are praying they keep doing them.

We didn't do too many character queues. Jack was easy cause we were near the front. Pocahontas and John didn't really have a line at all but we did go early. The only LOOOONGGG one we waited in was Mickey/Donald/Goofy/Pluto. That queue wasn't good cause it was so hot but we passed the time and probably ended up waiting about 35mins. After that we'd done the characters we wanted too and didn't notice any other huge lines.

http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/seobaina/TripRep2008/dispic03.jpg

The treasure spots were fun and we had lots of cast members interacting with us because we were in costume. The ride lines were easy for all the things we wanted - we did Philharmagic and Pirates but the lines were short for most things we saw. The parade was good fun and the fireworks were the most amazing thing ever. LOVED them!!!

We had a blast and wanna do another one right now!!! :-)

Yes, there were many small kids still there after we left...I just wasn't sure how crowded the "exit" would be so we left a bit early.

It's interesting to hear everyone's thoughts on the character meets...I'm still bummed we missed them all but still thought P&PP was great!

Yeah, that's how I knew to go straight to Jack first ;) I had a LGMH on my bag but I think it kept getting hidden by my sleeves. If I'd known I'd have said hi. We loved your costumes!

Hi:
I finally got my CD. I thought I'd post a picture. I hope it isn't too big for the board. If it is, please someone let me know.
