Value Season Mod rate question

I'm thinking of taking a quick trip back with my Mom for her first (:goodvibes ) in either Sept or Oct.

We are AAA members, so the regular rate would be $149/night during that time.

So we would get an additional 30% off that rate per night, correct?

So our nightly rate would be $105?? That can't be right, can it?

When we just went in January (value season) and stayed at a mod, our room rater per night was $132.

Am I screwing up the numbers somewhere??

AAA discounts are usually 20% off the rack rate for that time period.I know I recently got 30% off, but I think it was because I booked in Jan and Jan was Disney month at AAA..I could be wrong though.:goodvibes

The AAA discount rate for that period is 20%, not 30%

We already have a room-only reservation at a Mod (POFQ) for September 17-27 with a AAA discount and here is how the price broke down for us:

10 days, room-only - $1676.30 (including tax)
Minus 20% AAA discount of $335.20 = 1341.10

For that time period, Value Season runs August 3 - October 1. The rest of October is Regular Season.

During Value Season, the AAA discount is 20% off Moderates ($119.20). During Regular Season, the discount is 15% ($140.25).

I just checked out the 'Disney Month' thing at AAA about 3 weeks ago. It was all just a gimic for promotion sake. There was nothing extra being offered.

I'd love to know how you got 30% off. I only got 10% off my room ressie even after they said it would be 15%.
