My girls break up on Friday for a week - woohoo, lie-ins and no lunch boxes to sort out :thumbsup2

DW and DD2 are off next week.

I've got to go to Slovakia for 3 days though on business, so will miss Valentine's Day :guilty:

Here in Norfolk it's next week.

When I was about 11 or 12 in South Wales, as we lost so much school due to heavy snow, I remember Half-Term was cancelled.

Cancelling half term because you had snow earlier - that's just MEAN!

Last year when we went away at half term we were almost the only people staying at the holiday park - not only were most of the UK off the following week abut all the French, Belgian and Dutch as well so we almost had the place to ourselves (we went with a big party of 24 and I don't think there were as many people again in the whole place!). We can't hope for the same luck this year but it looks like there's a good spread so it shouldn't be too bad.
