Please sell me on Best Western in DTD!

Okay- just did our taxes :scared: Now instead of staying at the Coronado, I'll be at BW DTD for a weekend in April. I got the room off of Hotwire for $59/night. Never stayed in a DTD hotel before. How is the transportation and room quality? How long does it take to get to the parks? I will not have a rental car. Coming in for a conference, so won't be using the EMH feature anyway, but would like to run to the parks for a little while in the evening. It will be a party of myself and one child. Hi, you might want to check out www.tripadvisor.com for reviews. I haven't been there yet but am booked for a week in April also. From what I have read, there are free shuttle buses that run to all four disney parks as well as to DTD marketplace. Also on tripadvisor, you can click on the travelers photos, there is an arrow at the bottom to see more pics. I found it helpful as the hotels website only has a few photos!!
You can also do a search on the disboards, I found lots of reviews for the BW LBV!! Hope this helps!!

stayed there last year.

I upgraded to the Mk view - well worth it.

beautiful view of the entire area.

the rooms were old, but cleaned and well carefore.

It has one pool - but it was fine too.

when I was there one bus took you to MK and AK. Another bus took you to Epcot and Studios.

it was getting back from AK that was a pain.

so if you don't feel like going to the TTC and get on the bus, then going to Ak, before finally going back to LBVBW.

then get on the DTD bus at the CR - just ride to DTD - and walk back. Believe me you will beat the bus.

each bus only services it side. (they use to all share one bus)
