My Pre-Trip Report Is Up

.....in the Pre-Trip Report forum. We will have autism, RA and ECV use in our trip report. Thank you everyone for your advice is planning this vacation! Now I am just sitting back counting the days but still worried about the plane trip.... I was reading in the Transportation about seat kickers on airplanes and I know DD will try to kick the seat in front of her.

I hope you have a great vacation and please don't worry about what people think about your little "seat kicker". If they turn around and glare you can decide whether to share that she is disabled and unable to sit still, or you can practice with her, if possible to sit with her legs "indian style" or distract her with a favored toy or activity ( also if possible). I've been kicked in the back before on a plane and as a Mom, realize that for any child both excitement, nervousness and just plain boredom cause those little legs to move so it really doesn't bother me. At least another parent should be understanding and besides, why worry about the things we can't control?---Kathy

Thank you everyone! I tend to worry about EVERYTHING but whatever happens on the airplane, happens. We are going to WDW for FUN and that is the important thing. Hakuna Matata, right!?
