Fishing Excursion in Nassau / tipping

I was wondering if anyone has done the fishing excursion in Nassau!? If you did, was it worth it!?

Also, I have read several different people leaving phone cards in with their tips. I was wondering if these are just any phone card, or are they special in any kind of way (international?).

I haven't done the fishing excursion, but I always bring phone cards!
Definitely bring the ones that are good for international calling, as the vast majority of the crew is from outside of the U.S., and they tend to use the cards to call home. Also, be aware that the number of minutes on the card will probably bear no relation to how long it is good when calling internationally...the minutes usually refer to U.S. calls. We give 45 or 60 minutes cards, but they are good for as little as only 8 minutes when placing a call to certain countries on a payphone!!! But at least that gives the person a chance to say "hi." We get the cards from Sam's Club...they have some really good deals.

Do you leave a phone card for everyone you tip? Also, how much do you generally tip for room service? I have read posts that say bring $2 bills. Is this because that is the usual tip?

We give the phone cards to people who give us exceptional service (usually in addition to the regular $$ amount plus some extra cash) and also to people who are in positions that are not usually tipped (e.g. Guest Services).
We used $2 bills for room service on one trip, but they didn't seem to care one way or the other, so it's back to using two plain ol' singles (or more for a big order).
