Tell me about the BWI. I have a week booked for early June. Usually stay at the Poly. Is the BWI noisy? Which rooms are the quietest?

We had a beautiful room overlooking the rose garden and quiet pool. :) It was very quiet and romantic. ;) We could see Illuminations from our room too. :) I don't remember the room #... but it was on the top floor right above a garden suite. :)
I really love the BWI. Have a great trip!

We were in the exact same location as the previous poster and loved it! We never found it to be noisy from our room.

I stayed in a room overlooking the rose garden also. We were on the main floor, next to the ice machines and so close to the main area. The location was great. Easy to get to the room. You did not hear anything from the Boardwalk. And the illuminations from the Balcony was awesome!

We had a great room right over the bakery and the boardwalk - you could hear and see all the action on the boardwalk (we were even there for a very busy Sat night) but when we closed the balcony doors we couldn't hear a peep - and I'm an early and light sleeper- we loved BWI - as soon as I stay once at each resort I'll be going back!

All the previous posters seem to have had good room locations! My DH and I will be at the BWI at the end of August. Can any of you remember specific room numbers with the great views-mainly Illuminations? Thanks for your help...
Bonnie
We had room 5269 BWI over the FFCafe facing the courtyard enterence to lobby. We couldn't see illuminations but could view 2/3 of Boardwalk, YC/BC and S/D. When the doors were closed it was very quiet. We were pretty close to the elevators which was nice. Our balcony was the standard, two chair type, saw some on 3 and 4th floors with really large balconies.

Thanks, Having a view of the Boardwalk and being close to the elevators is a plus... Anybody else with a room number with a view?

When we were there in Nov our room number was 3282. Our location was also overlooking the rose garden area and from our balcony we could see Spaceship Earth and Illuminations at night. We loved staying at the Boardwalk Inn, either side of the resort, Inn or Villas, its our favorite resort at Walt Disney World!
