We will be on the DDP next August and considering CG. My DD will be 14 and will have adult credits but will probably want to eat from the kids menu, considering the options available. Reluctant to part with 2 TS credits for her, can we pay OOP and just pay for a kid's meal (technically up to age 9) or will CG be a bit snooty about this?

pigby,
We did this with no problem in Aug 07. My DS14 was in complete heaven on the DDP, but DS12 still stuck mainly with chicken fingers and pizza. At CG, we ordered a kids meal OOP for him and then he just shared our dessert. It was one of the best meals of our trip!
We actually did this at several TS places and just used the extra TS credits for CG and to do a bfast at CP one morning. Let me know if you have more questions!
Have a great trip!

My wife and I ate at CG a couple of years ago and wanted to go back but were reluctant to go back with the kids. We weren't sure how well our young kids would do in that environment, but the wait staff at CG is wonderful! They'll work with you in any way you want. They understand the realities of what kids will/will not like. They were very generous with us and earned an extra tip above-and-beyond the included tip, I might add.
