What is the Tallest Ride in WDW?

dzneynut
05-07-2011, 01:22 PM
Well, the tallest 'ride' is Expedition Everest at 199 feet.
Tower of Terror is also 199 feet tall, but I would consider that more of an attraction than a ride.

Hmbldr
05-07-2011, 03:06 PM
Well, I was thinking of ToT as it was first at the 199 ft mark. Anything you put you're butt in and move is a ride for me. And ToT does definitely move! However, out of the Twilight, the Yeti grants you an AAQ card.

dzneynut

How about a softball!
Walt Disney World only has one 'ride'; what is its name?

The Great Movie Ride? (I'm guessing since ride is in quotations, you're referring to that its the only attraction to have the word "ride" in its title)

Since nobody has come up with a question recently, I'm brushing off an old AAQ to ask this topical question. I just got back from a weekend trip and got to ride the new Star Tours during its soft opening.

How many times can you ride Star Tours and not see the same story version? (This is not a statistics question :lmao: )

Never doubt twitter. There are four segments of 2 X 3 X 3 X 3 possible combinations for a total of 54. A 'May the Force Be With You' AAQ to you.

Yes, and those are good additions as they complete the 4 I was thinking of...
Mike Fink Keel Boats
Davey Crocket Explorer Canoes
Swan Boats
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

I recall the Discovery River Boats, which was in DAK. We actually rode this as our first thing, first visit to DAK. Sorry to say, I don't think they are misssed.

Hmmmm...I want to say there are 2 locomotives. I can only think of one name: the E. P. Ripley. But the more I think about it the more I'm pretty sure I'm getting WDW and DLR mixed up.

And to respond to your side note from the other day: I was actually born on Ft. Sam at the old BAMC in '87. Moved away when I was 1, then we returned about 6 years ago for a few years, then my dad got assigned to D.C., then just returned back last year so he can command the AMEDD Center & School. I haven't been to the SA Zoo in ages and ages, but it is great!

OK....I think the story goes....it is a LIVE OAK, while they moved it, it got diseased in the drill holes, which they filled and then grafted another tree onto it. I think they live for a long, long time.
