I'm planning on doing a scrapbook layout about the local vegatation. Being from Iowa, we don't have alot of those tropical plants.
I also took some photos of those little lizard things that I saw all over the parks & the hotel area. Does anyone know what these are offically called? I want to include of photo of them too.
Thanks!

The ones in Florida are brown Anoles. This page shows them.

And yes the ones in WDW do that thing with their neck. I saw this one at YC.

Funny story, I live in Illinois, found one of these in my house, tiny baby one. Investigated the area and found another baby in a plant I had recently bought. When I asked at the store where I bought it, they said it came from Florida. Free pets from Florida. :rotfl:
I have about 50 pics of them from WDW, my sons are fascinated and are always taking pictures of them. Let me know if you need more.

Are these the same lizards that do Thriller during the Superbowl?

The ones down here in South Florida are not brown Anoles. We definitely have Geckos.
It was almost a joke for me for a while. I worked for Geico for 3 years. Every time I saw a Gecko around, I'd say "hello boss"

Sorry, I didn't mean to say there aren't Geckos in Florida. I should have said the ones you see running around WDW are brown anoles. :)

We had one in the car the other day. I opened the door and there he was sitting on DDs car seat. Scared the heck out of me. DD screamed GECKO!!!! So that must be what they're called. :lmao:
