A beach breakfast sounds like a hoot! But everyone really touts the Chef Mickey. They both have Mickey from what I see. What is the difference? Which is better?:wizard:

Chef Mickey's is a buffet. I think Ohana's is served family style.

Which is better fun factor wise? Kid interaction wise?

Chef Mickey's is a buffet and Ohana is served family style.

There is more things to keep the kids entertained at Ohana's as they have a few events for the kids besides the characters coming around. Chef Mickey's just has the characters walking around.

We have been to Ohana twice and LOVE it!!! Everything is hot and tasty and just YUMMY!!!

Ohana is a little more quiet, except for the conga line that the kids do. We really like the food at both! Ohana is family style and Chef Mickey's is buffet.

I haven't eaten at Chef Mickey's but we had Ohana in December and loved it! The kids interaction was really cute to watch (we were just 2 adults). The characters really got into it with them!

How long does the O'hana breakfast take? If I have a 7:30 breakfast can I be on the monorail by 8:30?

it depends on the schedule of the characters, etc. if you get seated at 7:30, you will DEFINITELY be able to eat in time. the waitress gets your drink order and then starts bringing out the food within minutes. so technically you can be done in 30 mins if you want. but who knows if the characters will be at your table by then?

We always do the O'hana's breakfast with Lilo and Stitch but adore the dinner. It is so much fun for kids. They do the kanga line, dancing, music, etc. The kids had a blast!

I'm happy to know that the food at Ohana is served family style. The thing I hate about CM and CP is that you might miss the characters while getting the food. I mean, why else do we pay over $20.00/person for breakfast?

As others have said, O'hana is family style service rather than buffet. I have been to all the other character breakfasts and I prefer this one. I can't believe the yummy juice at O'Hana breakfast hasn't been mentioned yet....excellent:thumbsup2

O'hanas is our favorite character meal. DS,who is 5, loves the character interaction. Some of our best pictures are always from this meal. The food has always been very good. I like not worry about going up to get food and missing the characters. We just sit back and enjoy. The service has always been great. We haven't done CM for breakfast so I can't comment about it.

What characters are at Ohana? I thought it was just Lilo and Stitch.

Ohana's is not a buffet like everyone else has said and it also has different characters but if you ask me I can't tell you which is better I love them both!!! :thumbsup2

Peronally, I prefer chef mickey's. CM has a better variety of food choices and the food is better, IMO. Ohana is (like everyone said) family style. It always tastes cold to me, like its been sitting too long. Also, if you want more of something, you have to ask your server. The food on the bbuffet line at CM seems fresher and you can get as much or as little at a time as you want. Character wise, I love Ohana because it is the only breakfast with Lilo and Stitch, and all the characters in their hawaiian outfits makes for cute photo ops. I would still chose CM though. Ohana is a much better dinner choice, IMO.
