Questions about Ultimate Park Hoppers

Called MS and asked about UPH, CM said I could not exclude the first and last days (Due to travel days) I thought we DVC'ers were able to do this. Anyone know for sure? Also what is the discount for UPH's? Is it 10% or 20%. Is Disney Club a better discount? Thanks for any info.

The DVC discount is 10% and is a better deal than the DC for this pass.

These may be purchased at check-in and will be encoded on your room id. We have dropped 1st and last days without problem in the past.

The one sure-fire experience that everyone will have if the call either CRO or MS in advance is to be told that you cannot leave off day of arrival or departure on the UPH. The one certainty is that, if you ignore them, then arrive at the hotel and ask, the hotel will let you leave off day of arrival or departure. As the structure was once explained to me, the leaving off of days is hotel discretion and thus CRO and MS will almost always say otherwise because they do not control hotel discretion.

We were at WDW over President's week and due to late arrival and early departure, I requested dropping the first and the last days off our UPH pass. The CM at the front desk did it with no problems or questions!

I think if you call CRO or MS they will quote you "Disney's" offical policy, but the informal policy is to drop the days. We had in the past drop the last day and this was the first time we wanted to drop both the first and last.

We also did receive a 10% discount for being DVC members.

BTW, this was at BWV.

The Disney Club discount is approximately 5% on all ticket media, so our 10% on the UPH is a better deal (as long as the ticket fits your plans).

The official rule is no but it's done all the time. Some have not been allowed to drop BOTH days though, others have.
